Kabongo is a town in eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo. It is also the seat of the current muLopwe (Grand Chief or King) of the Kabongo lineage of the Baluba royal line, Kumwimba Kabongo Kansh'imbu.

Democratic Republic of the Congo Country in Central Africa

The Democratic Republic of the Congo, also known as DR Congo, the DRC, DROC, Congo-Kinshasa, or simply the Congo, is a country located in Central Africa. It is sometimes anachronistically referred to by its former name of Zaire, which was its official name between 1971 and 1997. Luba people A Central African ethnic group

The Luba people or baLuba are an ethno-linguistic group indigenous to the south-central region of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Majority of them live in this country, residing mainly in its Katanga, Kasai, and Maniema provinces. The baLuba consist of many sub-groups who speak various dialects of Luba or other languages, such as Swahili.
