Karolis Guščikas (born 20 May 1992 in Kelmė, Lithuania) is a Lithuanian professional basketball player who plays for BC Juventus of the Lithuanian Basketball League and the Champions League. Standing at 6 ft 9 in (2.06 m), he plays at the Center and Power forward positions.
Kelmė is a city in northwestern Lithuania, a historical region of Samogitia. It has a population of 8,206 and is the administrative center of the Kelmė district municipality.
BC Juventus is a professional Lithuanian basketball club which currently plays in the Lithuanian Basketball League.
Lietuvos krepšinio lyga (LKL) is the premier professional men's club basketball league in Lithuania. It is composed of 10 teams, and it is a member of the Lithuanian Basketball Federation. The best LKL clubs are also annual participants of the top European-wide basketball competitions, including the top-tier level EuroLeague.
A 19-year-old Karolis started his career with Šiaulių ABRO-Universitetas of the NKL in 2010. In 2015-16 season he played for BC Šiauliai of the Lithuanian Basketball League and Baltic Basketball League.
