The Royal Academic Orchestra is Uppsala University’s symphony orchestra. Both the University and its orchestra are deeply rooted in history. Uppsala University, established in 1477, is the oldest in the Nordic countries, and its orchestra, which is mentioned in extant sources for the first time in 1627, is among the oldest in Europe. The orchestra was established by King Gustavus Adolphus of Sweden. From the beginning it was predominantly a vocal ensemble, but with the advent of new Baroque stylistic ideals this chorus was gradually turned into a purely instrumental ensemble under the leadership of the University’s director musices. Its duties were primarily to provide music at academic festivities, such as conferment ceremonies and inaugurations of vice-chancellors, but also on religious and national holidays.

Kuşaklı human settlement

Kuşaklı is an archaeological site in Turkey. It is 4 km west of Başören village of Altınyayla district in Sivas Province, 60 km south of Sivas city. Excavation continues under the direction of Andreas Müller-Karpe. Excavations began in 1992. Dirk Mielke identified from the 16th to 13th centuries BC three "pottery horizons" and two Hittite building layers of different character. Mielke further identified a third, Iron Age building layer.

Vikafestivalen was a Norwegian pop and rock festival situated at Mo i Rana in northern Norway. It has succeeded Sjonstock, a festival arranged in the outskirts of Mo I Rana every year for 10 years (1995-2005) until it was moved closer to the city and renamed Vikafestivalen (2006). In December 2008 the festival board announced that the festival was cancelled.

All tracks from this Newport album, along with all tracks from his 1959 Herndon Stadium performance in Atlanta, were also released on the Atlantic compilation LP, Ray Charles Live. A later CD reissue of that compilation album included a previously unissued song from the 1958 Newport concert, "Swanee River Rock".

Sas Plus/Sas Pussy is the second extended play (EP) by the Norwegian hip hop duo Karpe. It was released on February 22, 2019, through Apen og Kjeften, and distributed by Sony Music. The EP follows the duo's fifth studio album Heisann Montebello (2016), and the collaborative EP Mars (2018) with Unge Ferrari and Arif. The EP features guest vocals from Isah and Emilie Nicolas. Production was handled by Aksel "Axxe" Carlson and Thomas Kongshavn.
