At the age of 17, she started creating music as a singer with some friends. When the band broke up she got herself an electric guitar and started writing her own songs. In 2001, she moved to Manchester, England to study music. Two years later, she returned to Greece and teamed up with Guitarist Gina Dimakopoulou, violinist Katerina Michailidi, bassist Iakovos Siaparinas, drummer Dimitris Panagiotopoulos and formed the band Dementia Praecox. After many live performances in Greece, she broke up the band and moved to London, England to further her studies. During her stay in London, she performed live in several pubs, singing her songs unplugged.
In 2007, under the name Katrin the Thrill, she participated in the Coca-Cola Sounwave music contest, and won a place among the best music acts. Her song If You Believe in Dreams was included in the Music on the coke side of life compilation. For the next two years she performed in Greece in various music stages and festivals, among them, Terra Vibe Park, Gagarin 205, Vrachon Theater, European Music Day, Bios, Athens Gay Pride, Festival Against Racism, Indie Free Festival and shared the stage with Electrelane, Manic Street Preachers, Greg Dulli and Chinawoman. In 2009, following the devastating fires that swept through Greece, as well as many other places around the world, the concept for Earth is calling us EP was devised, and the need to take action and help reforestation was fully realized.
In 2010, the Earth is calling us EP was released by Incense, as her first solo project dedicated to the earth and the environment. Her song You make me wanna die was voted for the MWR Alternative Top Charts and her EP was considered as one of the best indie rock Greek releases of the year 2010.

The music of Greece is as diverse and celebrated as its history. Greek music separates into two parts: Greek traditional music and Byzantine music. These compositions have existed for millennia: they originated in the Byzantine period and Greek antiquity; there is a continuous development which appears in the language, the rhythm, the structure and the melody. Music is a significant aspect of Hellenic culture, both within Greece and in the diaspora.
Anna Vissi, is a Greek Cypriot singer and songwriter. She studied music at conservatories and performed locally before moving to the professional scene in Athens, in 1973, where she signed with Minos and simultaneously collaborated with other musical artists and released promotional singles of her own while studying at the University of Athens.
Despina Malea, known as Despina Vandi, is a Greek singer. Born in Tübingen near Stuttgart, Germany, Vandi's family returned to Kavala, Greece when she was six years old.

Aikaterini "Katerina" Stikoudi is a Greek singer, actress, host, model, businesswoman and former champion swimmer. After first gaining fame in 2001 by finishing fifth in the national swimming championship as PAOK swimming athlete she pursued a career in modeling, television, cinema and theatre. In 2005 she won the title of Miss Hellas 2005, on National Annual Beauty Pageant of Greece, followed by her participation on Miss World 2005 representing Greece.
The Last Drive is a Greek punk garage rock group, which was formed in 1983, broke up in 1995, and reunited in January 2007.
Katerina "Katy" Garbi is a Greek singer active in Greece and Cyprus, with some popularity in Turkey. Her career has spanned over 35 years with over 2 million records sold in Greece and abroad. Garbi's discography is marked by several multi-platinum releases, including Arhizo Polemo (1996) and Evaisthisies (1997), two of the best-selling albums of the decade. Garbi represented Greece in the annual Eurovision Song Contest in 1993 with the song "Ellada, Hora Tou Fotos", taking ninth place. She later struck her biggest commercial success with To Kati (2000) in terms of unit sales. Over the years, Garbi has won 11 Pop Corn Music Awards, including three for Album of the Year, and one Arion Music Award. On 14 March 2010, Alpha TV ranked her among the top-certified female artists in Greece's phonographic era.
Ip' Efthini Mou is the fourth album by Greek singer Natasa Theodoridou. It was released on 6 July 2001 by Sony Music Greece and received gold certification, selling 40,000 units. The album was written by several artists, including also Triantaphillos, Natalia Germanou and Eleni Giannatsoulia, and contains her top hit "Kataziteitai" which is a cover of Ojos Así, previously performed by Shakira.
Pyx Lax is a Greek rock band. Originally formed in 1989, they released their first recording in 1990, and had a critical and commercial success in the Greek music industry for fifteen years, before being dissolved in 2004. They reunited in 2011 for a tour in honor of Manos Xydous who died in 2010. In 2018, they reunited permanently. They are considered as the most successful, commercially, group in the history of Greek discography with three gold and five platinum albums. Some of their greatest hits were: "De Tha Dakryso Pia Gia Sena", "Ti Ine Afto Pou Mas Enoni?", "I Palies Agapes Pane Ston Paradeiso", "Mia Synousia Mystiki", "Epapses Agapi na thymizeis", "Poula me", and "Monaxia mou ola".

Vassilikos is the frontman and singer of the Greek indie/pop-rock band Raining Pleasure. Vassilikos is the composer, singer, bassist/guitarist and lyricist for the band and has released seven albums with them. Three of the band's albums were released by Minos EMI, and two of them achieved gold sales. Vassilikos and his band have toured Greece, Germany, Turkey and Romania, participating in European festivals such as Rock'n Coke and the Hurricane Festival and sharing the stage with bands such as the Pixies, The Cure, Pearl Jam, Kasabian and Arcade Fire.
Giro apo t'oneiro is the fourth Greek-language studio album and sixth studio album overall by Greek singer Helena Paparizou, released on 29 March 2010 by Sony Music Greece. The album, which was certified platinum in Greece for 12,000 shipments, was released in both standard and deluxe editions, with the deluxe edition featuring a live DVD. Distributed initially as a covermount with the Greek newspaper Real News on 28 March, it sold 140,000 copies through both releases, making it the most widely distributed release of Paparizou's career. Its singles performed moderately well compared to her previous albums, with "Tha 'Mai Allios", "An Isouna Agapi", and "Girna Me Sto Htes" managing to reach the top 10 of the domestic charts.

Dimitra Papadea, known professionally as Demy, is a Greek singer. She is signed with the Greek independent label Panik Records. She has released two studio albums, "#1" in 2012, which became platinum and "Rodino Oniro" in 2014, which became gold. In 2017, she released "Demy", a collection of all of her English songs and later she released the album "Kontra" including two new songs and older songs and collaborations that had not been included in an album up to that time. Demy has achieved 8 No.1 songs and 2 No.1 EPs at the Greek charts so far. She also combined music and acting by having taken part in 5 musicals from 2012 to 2017.

Lena Platonos is a Greek pianist and composer of electronic and art music. She took a leading role in the Athens electronic music scene of the 1980s, and her work has constituted a lasting inspiration for Greek electronic musicians in the subsequent decades. She is most known for her participation in the Hellenic Broadcasting Corporation's (ERT) children's musical show "Lilipoupoli", as well as for her unique personal work.
Libido Blume were a post punk/new wave band from Athens, Greece. They were part of the Athenian underground rock scene of the '80s and '90s. The band was founded by Akis Boyatzis, Dimitirs Bouroussas and Yiannis Drenoyiannis in 1985, from the remnants of Akis Boyatzis' Cpt.Nefos. Later on Tasos Katsaris joined the band.
Korina Legaki is a Greek singer born in Herakleion, Crete, of Greek-Swedish origin. She trained in classical and jazz singing, piano and orthophony, and participated in Spyros Sakkas's Vocal Art Workshop. A multilingual and multicultural persona, she has recorded six solo records with original material as well as covers of Greek and foreign composers. She has recorded and performed with musicians, composers, singers and ensembles across several genres from free jazz to traditional and from academic to ethnic. She has sung in theaters, concert halls and various venues throughout Greece and abroad, including the Odeon of Herodes Atticus, the Athens Concert Hall, the Zappeion, the temple of Poseidon in Sounio, the Anglican Church of St. Paul's and the European Parliament. At the same time, she has undertaken significant volunteering work, joining forces on stage and in studios with refugee children.
