The Kawasaki Versys-X 300 is a member of the Versys range and has been manufactured since 2017 with yearly revisions. A 250cc version of this motorcycle is also available in four countries.
Kawasaki announced the model in late 2016 as the smallest model in its Versys range of motorcycles, which began production with the 2017 model year. Kawasaki introduced this model to cater for riders who wanted a lightweight, manoeuvrable motorcycle for commuting, touring, and light off-roading, at a lower price-point than the 650cc and 1000cc models. [1] This 300cc model is also intended to suit shorter riders as it has a relatively low seat height of 815mm. [2] An optional extended reach saddle is available which raises the seat height by 25mm. [1] Its engine is the water cooled parallel-twin from the Kawasaki Ninja 300 but modified to deliver more of its torque at lower RPM to increase its off-road abilities. [3] In the United States, the bike has optional ABS, [4] however ABS is included for all models sold in the Japanese, Australian and Canadian markets. [5] [1] In Australia, the bike qualifies for the Learner Approved Motorcycle Scheme (LAMS) so riders on a learner's permit can ride it. [5]
The transmission features an assist and slipper clutch which lightens the clutch lever pull and allows for more aggressive downshifting, and a positive neutral finder for easier shifting. [4] [5] The included tyres are Trail Winners made by Inoue Rubber Co., appropriate for majority road riding with some light off-roading. The wheels are spoked with aluminium rims. [5]
This model has also been manufactured since 2017 for the Japanese domestic market only. Starting in 2022, this model is also on sale in Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand. [6] Aside from the engine, which comes from the former Ninja 250, this model is almost identical to the Versys-X 300. The slightly smaller engine outputs 24.0 kW of power and 21.0 Nm of torque. [7]
Produced since 2017, and the only available 250cc Versys model since 2020, the Versys-X 250 Tourer ABS comes with features which remain optional extras on the Versys-X 300. These are: a set of 17 litre keyed-alike plastic panniers, a centre stand, engine guard bar, and a power socket. This model costs JPY 726,000. [8]
The Suzuki SV650 and its variants are street motorcycles manufactured since 1999 by Suzuki. In 2009, Suzuki replaced the standard SV650 with the SFV650 Gladius. In 2016, the Gladius name was discontinued and the 2017 model was reverted to SV650.
The Kawasaki Ninja 250R is a motorcycle in the Ninja sport bike series from the Japanese manufacturer Kawasaki originally introduced in 1986. As the marque's entry-level sport bike, the motorcycle has undergone few changes throughout its quarter-century lifetime, having received only three substantial redesigns. In some markets the Ninja 250R has been succeeded by the Ninja 300.
The Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R is a motorcycle in the Ninja sport bike series from the Japanese manufacturer Kawasaki, the successor to the Ninja ZX-9R. It was originally released in 2004 and has been updated and revised throughout the years. It combines an ultra-narrow chassis, low weight, and radial brakes. In 2004 and 2005 the ZX-10R won Best Superbike from Cycle World magazine, and the international Masterbike competition.
The Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R is a 636 cc class motorcycle in the Ninja sport bike series from the Japanese manufacturer Kawasaki. It was introduced in 1995, and has been constantly updated throughout the years in response to new products from Honda, Suzuki, and Yamaha. The ZX series is what was known as the Ninja line of Kawasaki motorcycles in the 1980s and still carries the name today.
The Suzuki V-Strom 650 (DL650) is a mid-weight, sport touring motorcycle made by Suzuki since 2004, in its third generation since model year 2017. It has a standard riding posture, fuel injection and an aluminum chassis. Marketed in Europe, Oceania, the Americas, and since 2018, India, the DL650 is manufactured at Suzuki's final assembly plant in Toyokawa, Japan. The V-Strom 650 trades strength in a single area for adaptability to a variety of riding conditions: commuting, cruising, adventure touring, and to a lesser degree, off-road riding. The bike is variously categorized as dual sport, sport enduro tourer, street/adventure, commuter, or entry-level.
The Kawasaki Ninja 650R, also called ER-6f or EХ-6, is a motorcycle in the Ninja series from the Japanese manufacturer Kawasaki Motors sold since 2006. The 2012 model drops the R suffix from its name. It is a middleweight, parallel-twin engined motorcycle, designed for normal use on paved roads. They have modern styling and features, with low-seating ergonomics and a low center of gravity. The engine has a 180° crankshaft, resulting in an uneven firing interval of 0° and 540°.
The Kawasaki Versys 650 is a middleweight motorcycle. It borrows design elements from dual-sport bikes, standards, adventure tourers and sport bikes; sharing characteristics of all, but not neatly fitting into any of those categories. The name Versys is a portmanteau of the words versatile and system. It was introduced by Kawasaki to the European and Canadian markets as a 2007 model and to the US market in 2008. A California emissions compliant version was released in 2009. In 2010 new styling was applied to the headlight and fairings and several functional changes made including enlarged mirrors and improved rubber engine mounts. In 2015, a new model was introduced with a new fairing style that abandoned the older, stacked headlights for the more conventional twin headlight style commonly found on sportbikes.
Beta is an Italian motorcycle manufacturer, specialising in off-road motorcycles. Beta is best known for their popular observed trials bikes. In 2005, they launched a range of enduro motorcycles using KTM engines. In 2010 they launched the new RR series, with a new engine made in-house. Beta motorcycles have been used by world trials champions such as Jordi Tarrés, Dougie Lampkin, Albert Cabestany and Enduro riders Steve Holcombe and Brad Freeman. Production in 2018 was expected to be in excess of 20,000 motorcycles, ranging in size from 50 cc to 480 cc.
The Kawasaki 1400GTR, also known as the Concours 14 or ZG1400 in some markets, is a sport touring motorcycle produced by Kawasaki. The 1400GTR was introduced in September 2007 and is based on the ZX-14 platform. It replaces the original GTR1000 (Concours), which was built from 1986 to 2006.
The Honda XRE 300 is a single-cylinder dual-sport motorcycle designed and manufactured by Honda in Brazil. It was launched in August 2009 to simultaneously replace the Japanese firm's two South American on/off-road motorcycles: the XR250 Tornado and the NX-4 Falcon. Unlike these motorcycles' 250 cc and 400 cc engines, the fuel-injected 300 cc engine in the XRE300 meets Brazil's new PROMOT 3 emissions rules. It has an anti-lock brake (ABS) option.
The Kawasaki Ninja 1000 SX is a motorcycle in the Ninja series from the Japanese manufacturer Kawasaki sold since 2011. Other than its name, it is unrelated to the Ninja 1000R produced from 1986–89, or to other Ninja motorcycles.

The Kawasaki Ninja 300, or EX300, is a 296 cc (18.1 cu in) Ninja series sport bike introduced by Kawasaki in 2012 for the 2013 model year. It is sold in Asia, Australia, Europe, and North America. When introduced, the Ninja 300R replaced the Ninja 250R in some markets, and in others they were sold alongside each other. When the 2018 model year Ninja 400 was introduced, it replaced the 300 in some markets.
The Kawasaki Ninja H2 is a supercharged four-stroke supersport-class motorcycle in the Ninja sports bike series manufactured by Kawasaki, featuring a variable-speed centrifugal supercharger.
The Suzuki GSX-S1000 is a standard motorcycle made by Japanese automotive manufacturer Suzuki. The GSX-S1000 debuted in 2015 in Japan and shares the same engine with the 2005-2008 GSX-R1000 with modifications and retuning for lower-end RPM torque for commuting and cruising at slower speeds.
The Kawasaki Z300 is a standard motorcycle manufactured by Kawasaki. It was introduced in 2014 at the Milan Motorcycle Show as part of its Z series for the 2015 model year. It is sold in Asia, Australia, Europe and South America, and designed and marketed as the streetfighter version of the Ninja 300.
India Kawasaki Motors Private Limited (IKM) is an Indian motorcycle retailer. It was established in May 2010 in Pune, Maharashtra, as a wholly owned subsidiary of Kawasaki Heavy Industries Motorcycle & Engine, Japan Ltd. for imports and sales of motorcycles. Kawasaki made a technical assistance agreement with Bajaj Auto Ltd. in 1984, and cooperated to expand production and sales of motorcycles in India. In November 2016 India Kawasaki Motors decided to break ties with Bajaj Auto Ltd. for sales and service from April 2017 and sell its motorcycles through its own network.
The Kawasaki Ninja 400 is a 399 cc Ninja series sport bike introduced by Kawasaki in 2018 originally. It was then recreated as a successor to the Ninja 300. It launched with the 2018 model year.
The Suzuki V-Strom 250, also known as the DL250 (AL and AM), is a dual-sport motorcycle with a 248 cc Straight-twin engine and a standard riding posture. It has been manufactured in China by Suzuki since 2017, as an entry in the lighter adventure motorcycle in the line of the Suzuki V-Strom 650, Suzuki V-Strom 1000 and the Suzuki V-Strom 1050. The DL250 is implemented to compete with the BMW G310R and the 250/300 cc Kawasaki Versys. The DL250 was unveiled in 2017 by Suzuki and was originally intended for the Asian market.
