Kenema Town Field, is a mini-stadium located in Kenema, Sierra Leone. It is mostly used for soccer games and it also the home field of Kamboi Eagles football club.

The Eagles have an intense rivalry with the Diamond Stars of Kono and cross-regional rival Bo Rangers.

The Ethiopian Cup is the top knockout tournament of the Ethiopian football. It was created in 1945.

Tongo, also known as Tongoma, is a diamond mining town and the second largest city in Kenema District, located in the Eastern Province of Sierra Leone. Tongo is about 27 miles to Kenema. The population of the 60-sq.-mile city is 44,376.

Eastern Technical University is a university located in Kenema, the third largest city of Sierra Leone, along with the Kenema campus, Eastern Technical University was designed as a multi-campus institution with a campus at Bunumbu in the Kailahun District, another at Woama in the Kono District. The college was established as a result of a merger of two prominent government institutions; the Bunumbu Teachers College and the Government Technical Institute. Aniru Sahib Sahib Conteh was a Sierra Leonean physician and expert on the clinical treatment of Lassa fever, a viral hemorrhagic fever endemic to West Africa caused by the Lassa virus. Conteh studied medicine at the University of Ibadan in Nigeria and taught at Ibadan Teaching Hospital. He later returned to Sierra Leone where he joined the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Lassa fever program at Nixon Methodist Hospital in Segbwema, first as superintendent and then as clinical director.
