Kids Alive was a Japanese rock band formed in 1998 when bassist Akihiro Yamamura, vocalist Yuta Aihara and guitarist Hiroshi "Keiji" Kanno signed up for Kids Records. Their first major debut single was released in 2002. They changed over to the Cutting Edge label for their next five singles and album two years later. They were with avex and released their two latest singles with them shortly before their break-up in 2003.
One of their songs, "Bokura no bouken", was used as the first ending theme of the anime Hikaru no Go and its opening melody was sampled by German rapper Kool Savas for his Song "Tot oder Lebendig". "2nd Stage" was used for the opening theme of the anime Hungry Heart: Wild Striker.

Yoshiyuki Tomino is a Japanese anime director, screenwriter, songwriter and novelist best known for creating the Gundam anime franchise.

V6 was a six-member Japanese boy band formed by Johnny & Associates. The group debuted on November 1, 1995, with the single "Music for the People", which was used as the image song for the 1995 World Cup of Volleyball. Their first four singles, including "Music for the People", were all cover versions of the same-titled Eurobeat songs composed by Italian producers such as Giancarlo Pasquini, Andrea Leonardi, Alberto Contini, and Sandro Oliva.

Ryōko Shintani is a Japanese voice actress and singer from Kanazawa, Ishikawa. She is under the Lantis and Vi-vo Recording Label and famous as the voice of Milfeulle Sakuraba in the Galaxy Angel Series. Kyō no Go no Ni is a Japanese seinen manga series created by Koharu Sakuraba, the author of Minami-ke. It was originally serialized in Kodansha's Bessatsu Young Magazine from 2002 to 2003, and the twenty-two chapters were later collected together in a single tankōbon volume along with two extra chapters and published on November 11, 2003, by Kodansha. The main premise of Kyō no Go no Ni is the school life of the fifth year class 5-2, focusing on an elementary-school boy named Ryōta Satō.

"Troublemaker" is a song recorded by Japanese boy band Arashi. It was released on March 3, 2010 by their record label J Storm. "Troublemaker" was used as the theme song to the drama Tokujo Kabachi!! starring Arashi member Sho Sakurai. It was released as a CD single in two formats: a regular edition containing with two B-sides and the instrumental of all the songs and a limited edition containing the B-side "Yurase, Ima o" and a DVD.
"Change the World" is a song by Japanese boy band V6. It was released on October 25, 2000 through Avex Trax, as the band's seventeenth single. The song was used as the first opening theme for the anime series Inuyasha. The single peaked at number 3 on the Oricon singles chart and stayed on the chart for thirteen weeks. An English version of the song was covered by Inuyasha's voice actor in the Italian dub of the series, Massimiliano Alto, and it was used as the opening theme song when InuYasha aired in Italy.
Prizmmy was a Japanese girl group formed by Avex Pictures in 2012. The group debuted through the Pretty Rhythm anime series, where they hosted the live-action segments in each episode and later released their first song, "Everybody's Gonna Be Happy", on 16 March 2012 as one of the ending theme songs to Pretty Rhythm: Aurora Dream. Fictionalized versions of themselves appeared as the main cast of Pretty Rhythm: Dear My Future to promote their activities.
