Kiryat Sprinzak was established in the 1960s. It is named after Yosef Sprinzak.[ citation needed ]
The neighbourhood is full of typical houses from the period of liquidation of the temporary housing. The neighborhood initially included 1,600 housing units. The population in the neighborhood is mixed, and today there are immigrants from Ethiopia, immigrants from the former Soviet Union and veteran residents. In the past, the Sprinzak elementary school operated in the neighborhood, but it was closed in 2003 due to a lack of students and a poor level of education. Today the neighborhood served by Ein Hayam elementary school, which also includes a class for children with PDD.[ citation needed ]
Kiryat Yam is a city in the Haifa Bay district of Israel, 12 km (7 mi) north of Haifa. One of a group of Haifa suburbs known as the Krayot, it is located on the Mediterranean coast, between Kiryat Haim and the Tzur Shalom industrial area, east of Kiryat Motzkin. In 2019 it had a population of 39,897.

O'Connor–Parkview is a neighbourhood in the East York area of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. While the name is taken from the definition used by the city of Toronto, local residents are more familiar with the niche areas that define the larger neighbourhood. It is a very diverse neighbourhood that includes English-speaking and Greeks in the west, to the Tamil speakers in the east and Bengali people in the south. Rundle Heights is a residential neighbourhood overlooking the North Saskatchewan River valley in the City of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, named for Methodist missionary Robert Terrill Rundle. Trinity-Bellwoods is an inner city neighbourhood in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It is bounded on the east by Bathurst Street, on the north by College Street, on the south by Queen Street West, and by Dovercourt Road on the west. The Immigrant camps in Israel were temporary refugee absorption camps, meant to provide accommodation for the large influx of Jewish refugees and new Olim arriving to Mandatory Palestine and later the independent State of Israel, since early 1947. The tent camps first accommodated Holocaust survivors from Europe, and later largely Jewish refugees from Middle East and North Africa. By early 1950, immigrant camps were converted into Transition Camps, where living conditions became better and tin dwellings replaced tents.
