Police Tero Football Club, formerly known as BEC Tero Sasana is a Thai professional football club based in Bangkok. The club finished runners-up in the inaugural AFC Champions League competition in 2003. BEC Tero Sasana merged with Police United in the 2017 season and changed its official name to Police Tero Football Club in the 2018 season.

It was founded in 1999 under the name "Provincial League" organized by Sports Authority of Thailand (SAT) and Ministry of Tourism and Sports. The name was changed to "Professional League" in 2004 and then changed back to "Provincial League" in 2007.

The Thai League 1, commonly known as the T1, is a Thai professional league for Football Association of Thailand clubs. At the top of the Thai football league system, it is the country's premier football competition. Contested by 16 clubs, it operates on a system of promotion and relegation with Thai League 2. The Thai League is a corporation in which the 16 member clubs act as shareholders. Seasons run from February to October, with teams playing 30 games each with a total of 240 games in the season. It is sponsored by Toyota and therefore officially known as the Toyota Thai League. In the Thai League, most of the games are played during Saturdays and Sundays, with a few games played on Wednesdays and Fridays.

Thailand Amateur League, commonly known as the TA, is the fifth level of Thai football organised by Thai League Co.,Ltd. It was started in 2017 by an idea from Police General Somyot Poompanmoung, the president of Football Association of Thailand for improving all Thai Amateur clubs to be better and allowing other clubs which are in other regions chances to play in a national FA tournament. In 2017, the tournament is divided into 12 regions and participated by 119 clubs which are former members Football Division 3, and debutants in the season. As the tournament is considered as the lowest level of Thai football, so the number of participants is unlimited as well as any club is able to send an application to participate in the tournament. In 2016 the Football Division 3 became a trophy for the Thailand Amateur League.
Thai League 3, commonly known as the T3, is the Third level of Thai football. It was started in 2017 First season. In 2017, the League is divided in 2 regions and participated by 32 clubs 1st-4th clubs from 8 regions which are former members Regional League Division 2 and debutants in the season.
