Tydal is a municipality in Trøndelag county, Norway. The administrative centre of the municipality is the village of Ås. Other villages include Østby, Gressli, Aunet, and Stugudalen. There is a school and a kindergarten in Tydal.
Red's Dream is a 1987 American computer-animated short film written and directed by John Lasseter and produced by Pixar. The short film, which runs four minutes, stars Red, a unicycle. Propped up in the corner of a bicycle store on a rainy night, Red dreams of a fantasy where it becomes the star of a circus. Red's Dream was Pixar's second computer-animated short following Luxo Jr. in 1986, also directed by Lasseter.
Ark was a progressive metal band from Norway founded by guitarist Tore Østby and drummer John Macaluso, who later joined up with singer Jørn Lande to record two albums. Lande, Østby and Macaluso were joined by Randy Coven on bass and Mats Olausson on keyboards for their second effort.

Einar Østby was a Norwegian cross-country skier who competed during the early 1960s. He earned a silver in the 4 × 10 km relay at the 1960 Winter Olympics in Squaw Valley and also finished fifth in the 15 km event as well. Østby also won a bronze medal in the 15 km event at the 1962 Nordic skiing World Championships.

Until 2010 they had a third section, for top-level association football, named FK Lyn. In the skiing is also embedded orienteering, triathlon, and track and field. Lyn has previously also been playing bandy.

The constituency was established in 1921 following the introduction of proportional representation for elections to the Storting. It consists of the municipalities of Alvdal, Åmot, Åsnes, Eidskog, Elverum, Engerdal, Folldal, Grue, Hamar, Kongsvinger, Løten, Nord-Odal, Os, Rendalen, Ringsaker, Sør-Odal, Stange, Stor-Elvdal, Tolga, Trysil, Tynset and Våler in the county of Innlandet. The constituency currently elects six of the 169 members of the Storting using the open party-list proportional representation electoral system. At the 2021 parliamentary election it had 152,228 registered electors.
Østby Church is a parish church of the Church of Norway in Trysil Municipality in Innlandet county, Norway. It is located in the village of Østby, about 15 kilometres (9.3 mi) from the border with Sweden. It is the church for the Østby parish which is part of the Sør-Østerdal prosti (deanery) in the Diocese of Hamar. The white, wooden church was built in a long church design in 1940 using plans drawn up by the Norwegian Directorate of Public Construction and Property. The church seats about 100 people.
