Krzysztof Szramiak (born 9 July 1984 in Opole) is a Polish weightlifter.
He competed in Weightlifting at the 2008 Summer Olympics in the 77 kg division finishing eighth with 352 kg. This beat his previous personal best by 2 kg.
He is 167 centimetres (5 ft 6 in) tall and weighs approx. 78 kilograms (172 lb) off-season (during training, outside competition).

Andrei Rybakou is a Belarusian former weightlifter, Olympian and two-time World Champion who competed in the 85 kg category. In 2016, after a retest of his 2008 samples tested positive for Dehydrochloromethyl-testosterone and Stanozolol his performance at the 2008 Olympic Games was disqualified, as well as his Olympic record and World record set during the competition. He was also ordered to return his silver medal.
Žydrūnas Savickas is a Lithuanian retired strongman and powerlifter. Due to his 84 international wins in strongman including four World's Strongest Man titles, eight Arnold Strongman Classic titles, two IFSA Strongman World Championships, and over 70 world records, he is widely regarded as the greatest strongman of all time.
Shi Zhiyong is a Chinese weightlifter. He became Olympic Champion during the 2004 Summer Olympics. He lifted a total of 325 kg, equalising the World record at that time.
Ilya Aleksandrovich Ilyin is a retired Kazakhstani weightlifter who won four world championships. On 12 December, 2015 at the President's Cup in Grozny, Russia, Ilyin set two world records in the −105 kg class. He lifted 246 kg in the clean and jerk and 437 kg in the total. Ilyin was named IWF World Weightlifter of the Year four times: in 2005, 2006, 2014, and 2015.

Sushil Kumar is a former Indian wrestler and two-time Olympic medallist. In July 2009, he received the Major Dhyan Chand Khel Ratna – India's highest honour for sportspersons. On 3 October 2010, Kumar handed the Queen's Baton to Prince Charles in the Queen's Baton Relay for the 2010 Commonwealth Games opening ceremony. He carried the Indian flag at the opening ceremony of 2012 London Olympics. Sushil won the gold medal in the 74 kg division at the 2014 Commonwealth Games. Sushil won the gold medal in the 74 kg division at the 2018 Commonwealth Games. He is the first and only Indian to win a gold medal at World Wrestling Championships.

Mark Spooner is a New Zealand weightlifter. Spooner represented New Zealand at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, where he competed for the men's lightweight category (69 kg). Spooner placed 21st in this event, as he successfully lifted 123 kg in the single-motion snatch, and hoisted 158 kg in the two-part, shoulder-to-overhead clean and jerk, for a total of 281 kg.
