Osman I or Osman Ghazi was the eponymous founder of the Ottoman Empire. While initially a small Turkoman principality during Osman's lifetime, his beylik transformed into a vast empire in the centuries after his death. It existed until 1922 shortly after the end of World War I, when the sultanate was abolished.
Orhan Ghazi was the second sultan of the Ottoman Empire from 1323/4 to 1362. He was born in Söğüt, as the son of Osman I.

According to tradition and Ottoman historiography as presented by historian Idris Bitlisi, Alaeddin was more passive than his warrior brother, and thus stayed at home instead of fighting to expand the newly forming Ottoman Empire. He received training in the management of the state affairs. There is a good chance that Orhan was selected to inherit leadership of the Empire because of his skills as a warrior.
Rabia Bala Hatun was the wife of Osman I, the founder of the Ottoman Dynasty. She was the daughter of Sheikh Edebali and the mother of Alaeddin Ali Pasha of the Ottoman Empire.
Diriliş: Ertuğrul, translated as Resurrection: Ertuğrul, is a Turkish historical fiction and adventure television series produced by Mehmet Bozdağ for TRT, starring Engin Altan Düzyatan as Ertuğrul Bey. Malhun Hatun is a main female protagonist character in the Turkish TV series Kuruluş: Osman portrayed by Yıldız Çağrı Atiksoy. She is based on Malhun Hatun, wife of Osman Gazi. She is the second wife of the character Osman Bey.
