Bulawayo is the second largest city in Zimbabwe, and the largest city in the country's Matabeleland region. The city's population is disputed; the 2022 census listed it at 665,940, while the Bulawayo City Council claimed it to be about 1.2 million. Bulawayo covers an area of 546 square kilometres in the western part of the country, along the Matsheumhlope River. Along with the capital Harare, Bulawayo is one of two cities in Zimbabwe that are also provinces.
Gweru, originally known as Gwelo, is a city in central Zimbabwe. It is on the centre of Midlands Province. Originally an area known to the Ndebele as "The Steep Place" because of the Gweru River's high banks, in 1894 it became the site of a military outpost established by Leander Starr Jameson. In 1914 it attained municipal status, and in 1971 it became a city.

St. George's College is a private Jesuit boys high school in Harare, Zimbabwe. The school, colloquially referred to as Saints or George's, is located in Borrowdale, a Harare suburb. The land was donated to the Jesuits. This led to the relocation of the school site from Bulawayo to Harare, the foundation of St. George's College. On the same site, a preparatory primary school was established, called Hartmann House (HH). This site is next to the presidents house, which acts as the official Zimbabwe State House. The school motto is Ex Fide Fiducia, a Latin phrase meaning "From Faith Comes Confidence".
Marist Brothers Secondary School, Dete (MBSS), otherwise referred to as 'Marist Dete' is a co-educational (mixed) boarding secondary school Dete, in the Hwange district of Zimbabwe’s Matabeleland North Province. The school was established in 1972 and is part of the international family of Marist schools run by the Marist Brothers, a Catholic society founded in 1817 by Saint Marcellin Champagnat in France.
St. Patrick's Christian Brothers College, Bulawayo, commonly referred to as Christian Brothers College (CBC), is a private boys-only high school located in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe. It is a member of the Association of Trust Schools (ATS) and the Headmaster is a member of the Conference of Heads of Independent Schools in Zimbabwe (CHISZ). The school is considered amongst the best in Africa. It is located in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe's second largest city.
Lupane ( luːpɑːnɛ) District is located in the Matabeleland North Province of Zimbabwe, and it is also the Provincial Capital. The District is situated at an elevation of 976 m with a population of 107,000 inhabitants by 2022. Lupane Town is the main center of the district located 172 km from Bulawayo along the A8 Victoria Falls Road. The Government Provincial Administrative offices are located at the Town Centre. A new university near the Town has been established under the name Lupane State University, which caters for the region and beyond. The word Lupane is thought to be a Kalanga or Lozwi word.

Mbuma Mission Hospital is a community hospital in Mbuma, which is a remote village within Nkayi District, Matabeleland North (province), Zimbabwe. It is owned and operated by the Free Presbyterian Church of Scotland and largely funded by the Dutch 'Mbuma Mission Foundation' (Mbuma-Zending). The hospital compound is close to the Shangani river, about 1157 metres above sea level.

WaddiloveHigh School is a Methodist High School in Marondera, Mashonaland East Province, Zimbabwe, established in 1891 by Methodist Missionary John White. The name Waddilove was in honour of Sir Joshua K Waddilove, an Englishman, philanthropist and founder of Provident Financial, who bequeathed 1,000 English pounds which resulted in the construction of two dormitory complexes for boys and girls. The school transformed from a Mission Station to Teacher Training College. The school is situated close to Muti Usinazita. Some of the past headmasters are B. T. Chakanyuka, Gwanzura, Munongi, Murefu, Moyo and Manhera. The school has produced many learners with more than 15 points. In 2022, it had high pass rate of more than 27 learners, which is higher than a standard advanced level class.
St Dominic's Chishawasha is a Roman Catholic girls boarding school situated in Chishawasha valley, about 24 km from Harare, the capital of Zimbabwe. It began as an elementary school in 1898; the secondary school was opened in 1967. In 2017 the enrollment consisted of 420 full-time boarding students.
Moleli High School, is a co-education high school located in Mashonaland West Province, Makwiro, Chegutu District, Msengezi area near the town of Norton in the Zvimba area, 80 kilometres southwest of the Zimbabwean capital Harare. It offers O' and A' levels in boarding facilities. It was established in 1962 by Ronald E. Sellers of the Methodist Church in Zimbabwe and named after the late Methodist Rev. Modumedi Moleli and is a Methodist mission school. Moleli has a student population of about 620 pupils, and is considered one of Zimbabwe's top performing high schools. It is a sister school to Sandringham High School which they share sibling rivalry.
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Zimbabwe refers to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and its members in Zimbabwe. In 1975, there were 689 members in Zimbabwe. In 2022, there were 38,289 members in 91 congregations, in 8 stakes.
The Methodist Church of Sri Lanka is a Protestant Christian denomination in Sri Lanka. Its headquarters is in Colombo and was established on 29 June 1814. It is a member of the World Council of Churches, the Christian Conference of Asia, the National Christian Council of Sri Lanka and the World Methodist Council.
The Association of Trust Schools (ATS) is an organisation of independent primary and secondary schools in Zimbabwe that was founded in 1962. Each of these schools are run by their own Board of Governors and are not for profit entities. The Heads of ATS schools are eligible for membership in the Conference of Heads of Independent Schools in Zimbabwe (CHISZ). There are 66 schools in the ATS.

The Cathedral Basilica of the Immaculate Conception is the name given to a temple that is affiliated with the Catholic Church and serves as the seat of the Metropolitan Archbishop of Bulawayo in Zimbabwe. In addition, the June 21, 2013 by decree of Pope Francis was elevated to the status of Minor Basilica.
