L. H. Clermont was an Olympic sport shooter who was part of the team which won Haiti's first ever Olympic medal, a bronze in team free rifle at the 1924 Summer Olympics. But L. H. Clermont did not start.

Haiti at the Olympics

Haiti made its first appearance at the Olympic Games in the 1900 Summer Olympics in Paris. The 1924 Summer Olympics in the same city marked Haiti's first Olympic medal, when the seven members of Haiti's shooting team took third place in the free rifle competition. The next games, in 1928, saw another medal for Haiti; Silvio Cator took the silver in men's long jump. While Haiti has participated in several Olympic games since 1928, no other medals have been won. Haiti has never competed in the Winter Olympics.

At the 1924 Summer Olympics in Paris, ten events in shooting were contested. These would be the last Games in which team events were part of the Olympic shooting program. The competitions were held from 23 June 1924 to 9 July 1924 at the shooting ranges at Versailles, Reims, Camp de Châlons (Mourmelon), and Issy-les-Moulineaux.

At the 1996 Summer Olympics, she earned a gold medal as a member of the winning U.S. team in the women's 4×200-meter freestyle relay. She was inducted in 2015 into the Michigan Sports Hall of Fame.

Clermont Foot association football club

Clermont Foot 63 is a French association football club based in Clermont-Ferrand. The first incarnation of the club was formed in 1911 and the current club was created in 1990 as a result of a merger. Clermont currently play in Ligue 2, the second level of French football having achieved promotion to the league after winning the 2006–07 edition of the Championnat National. The club plays its home matches at the Stade Gabriel Montpied located within the city. Between 2014 and 2017 Clermont were managed by Corinne Diacre the first woman to manage a men's professional football match. They are captained by Cameroonian Eugène Ekobo. Jacky Chazalon is a retired French FIBA basketball player. Chazalon played for the France women's national basketball team from 1963 to 1976 and won silver at the EuroBasket Women 1970 Championship. During her time in FIBA, she played in the 1971 FIBA World Championship for Women and the 1976 Pre-Olympic Basketball Tournament for Women. Chazalon was named France's Women Basketball Player of the Century in 2000. She was awarded the Glory of Sport in 2003. She was inducted into the FIBA Hall of Fame in 2007.
