Mujer, casos de la vida real is an anthology telenovela produced by Mexican television network Televisa for Canal de las Estrellas. Developed as a response to the Mexican earthquake of 1985, the concept of the show was the reenactment of real life situations sent in by viewers. Though its execution was not exactly as conceived, as cases later deviated from earthquake-related stories, Televisa continued the program after seeing the outpouring of response from the Mexican public.

It is a remake of the Turkish telenovela Aşk-ı Memnu by Ece Yörenç and Melek Gençoğlu. It has been adapted from Halit Ziya Uşaklıgil's novel Aşk-ı Memnu, published in 1900, but takes place in the modern-day Miami, instead of the novel's late 19th-century Istanbul setting. Jencarlos Canela and Mónica Spear starred as the protagonists. Although Telemundo announced a second season, Spear's 2014 murder brought an end to production.
