Biwi No.1 is a 1999 Indian Hindi-language comedy-drama film directed by David Dhawan, produced by Vashu Bhagnani, and featuring Anil Kapoor, Salman Khan, Karishma Kapoor, Tabu, and Sushmita Sen in the lead roles. Amitabh Bachchan and Saif Ali Khan appear in cameo roles. The film was theatrically released in India on 28 May 1999, receiving generally positive reviews from critics, and proved to be the second highest-grossing Bollywood film of the year. Ram Lakhan is a 1989 Indian Hindi-language masala film. It was produced and directed by Subhash Ghai and had an ensemble cast, including Anil Kapoor, Jackie Shroff, Madhuri Dixit, Dimple Kapadia, Amrish Puri, Raakhee and Anupam Kher. Director Subhash Ghai had initially offered the music to R.D. Burman. But after recording 2 songs, he immediately shifted the task to Laxmikant Pyarelal. The film was a huge box office blockbuster of its time and was loved by audiences. The film is considered a classic and is considered to be Ghai's best work. Anil Kapoor's character Lakhan was much loved by audiences and is considered to be one of his best performances. The film is also one of the most popular and successful films of the duo Anil Kapoor and Jackie Shroff, who share great on screen chemistry. The film featured the much loved Jodi of Anil Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit and was one of their most memorable films together.

Ram Lakhan Singh Yadav also known as Sher-e-Bihar was an Indian politician. He was elected to the 10th Lok Sabha, lower house of the Parliament of India from the Arrah, Bihar in 1991 as a member of the Janata Dal but joined the Congress in controversial circumstances which helped save Narasimha Rao Government in the 28 July 1993 no confidence vote. He was later made Minister for Chemicals and Fertilizers in the Narasimha Rao Government. He was earlier Member of the Bihar Legislative Assembly and a state minister. He first became a Cabinet Minister in 1963 in K.B. Sahay ministry. He was accorded the third place in the ministry after Sahey and his deputy Satendra Narain Singh. A veteran freedom fighter, Shri Yadav was a key figure from Bihar in India’s freedom struggle. His younger grandson Jai Vardhan Yadav was elected Member of Legislative Assembly from Paliganj as a member of Rashtriya Janata Dal in between 2015 to 2020.
