Lance P. Mason (born September 19, 2003) is an American football tight end for the Wisconsin Badgers. He previously played for the Missouri State Bears.
Mason attended Rockwall-Heath High School in Heath, Texas. Coming out of high school, he committed to play college football for the Missouri State Bears. [1]
During his three-year career at Missouri State from 2022 through 2024, he totaled 56 receptions for 800 yards and eight touchdowns, where he earned an honorable-mention All-American nod from the Associated Press in 2024. [2] [3] After the conclusion of the 2024 season, Mason entered the NCAA transfer portal. [4]
Mason transferred to play for the Wisconsin Badgers. [5] In week two of the 2025 season, he hauled in seven passes for 102 yards and a touchdown in a win versus Middle Tennessee. [6] In week three, Mason brought in two passes for 30 yards in a loss to Alabama. [7] In week four, he totaled five receptions for 45 yards and a touchdown against Maryland. [8] Mason finished the 2025 season with 30 receptions for 398 yards and four touchdowns, where for his performance earned second-team all-Big Ten honors. [9]
