The Lane County Farmers Market is the largest farmers market in Eugene, Oregon, United States. It provides fresh, locally grown produce, food products, flowers, and plants where shoppers buy directly from the producers.
The Lane County Farmers Market is related to the first public market in Lane County, which began in 1915.[ citation needed ] The market location, at the corner of 8th Avenue and Oak Street, in downtown Eugene is where it began, though competition from large supermarkets and other conditions contributed to its closure in 1959. Reopening in 1979, it has grown and now features just over 100 growers and producers. Membership is open to Oregon residents who grow or make their own farm and food products.
The market features fresh Oregon-grown fruits, vegetables, herbs, flowers, plants, meat, seafood, eggs, baked goods, honey, and prepared foods. Products vary throughout the season according to availability. The market runs Saturdays, February through December, and Tuesdays, May through October, in downtown Eugene.

Lane County Fair is a fair that is held in the middle of the summer every year, at Eugene, Oregon, and it features cuisine, entertainment, and music. Excellent family entertainment, cuisine, and artwork can be found at the Lane County Fair. A Lane County Agricultural Society was established in 1858, and on October 9, it hosted its inaugural show, which was still not regarded as fair. In 1860, a state agricultural association was established, and it was planned to host a state fair. From October 3 to October 4, 1860, a state fair was conducted close to Oregon City. On October 9 and 10, 1861, there was another fair. Finally, the inaugural "Lane County Fair" was held for three days on September 25, 1884. Excellent family entertainment is available at the Lane County Fair, including performances, rides, games, and fun. Pre's Trail, located on the north side of the Willamette River in Eugene, Oregon, United States, popularly referred to as "Track Town USA", is a four-mile-long running and walking trail named after heralded University of Oregon athlete Steve Prefontaine. The woodchip-and-bark trail features riparian scenery, including grasslands, duck ponds, and woods, as well as guide signs with trail maps at each of three primary trailheads.
