Lawrence Wright (born 11 May 1940) is a former English cricketer. He was a right-handed batsman who played for Hertfordshire. He was born in Hertford.
Wright, who represented the team in the Minor Counties Championship between 1960 and 1972, made a single List A appearance for the team, during the 1964 Gillette Cup. From the middle order, he scored 7 runs.

He is credited with introducing innovations such as backing up infield plays from the outfield and shifting defensive alignments based on hitters' tendencies. For his contributions as a manager and developer of the game, he was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1953 by the Veterans Committee. Wright was also the first to make baseball into a business by paying his players up to seven times the pay of the average working man.

After his junior year at Texas A&M University, he was selected 15th overall in the 2005 NBA draft by the Nets, the highest pick from the Big 12 Conference that year and in Texas A&M University history until Acie Law was drafted 11th in the 2007 NBA Draft. Wright played his first five seasons of professional basketball in the NBA. He has since played overseas and in the NBA D-League.

Trerein "Tre" E. Roberson is a professional gridiron football defensive back for the Calgary Stampeders of the Canadian Football League (CFL). He was signed by the Minnesota Vikings as an undrafted free agent following the 2016 NFL Draft. He then played for the Stampeders until he signed with the Chicago Bears in 2020. Prior to entering the NFL, Roberson was a collegiate quarterback at Indiana University and Illinois State University. Roberson had a 3–4 record for his career as the starting quarterback at Indiana and a 23–5 record for Illinois State.

The Lawrence Memorial Library was designed in Springfield, Illinois in 1905 by American architect Frank Lloyd Wright for client Susan Lawrence Dana. Wright had designed Susan Lawrence Dana's home, also in Springfield, in 1902–04.
