Christian Cyrus Leben is an American mixed martial artist and referee. He competed in the UFC in the Middleweight division, compiling a record of 12-10 in 22 appearances for the organization. Leben first appeared in the inaugural season of The Ultimate Fighter reality series, and also fought in the now-defunct WEC. He began his UFC career with five victories in a row before suffering a knockout loss to future UFC Middleweight Champion Anderson Silva. Leben was the inaugural WEC Middleweight Champion.

Steve Leben is a judge on the Kansas Court of Appeals. He has judged on this court since June 2007.

Karl Leban Austrian sportsman

Karl Leban was an Austrian speed skater and modern pentathlete who competed in the 1936 Winter Olympics and in the 1936 Summer Olympics. At the Winter Games he finished sixth in the 500 m and twelfth in the 1500 m event. At the Summer Games he placed 26th in the modern pentathlon. Leban finished fourth allround at the 1932 European Speed Skating Championships. Domestically he won athletics titles in the 5000 m, 4×1500 m relay and 1500 m (1937). He died during World War II when his fighter plane crashed in Ukraine.

Malachy Carey was a volunteer in the Provisional Irish Republican Army and a Sinn Féin candidate in local government elections. He was born in Loughgiel, County Antrim in 1956 to an old County Antrim family. He was assassinated by a Loyalist death squad in Ballymoney, County Antrim. on 12 December 1992. His death was reported in Republican newspaper An Phoblacht. A Sinn Féin Cumann has been named in his honour.
