County Leitrim is a county in Ireland. It is in the province of Connacht and is part of the Northern and Western Region. It is named after the village of Leitrim. Leitrim County Council is the local authority for the county, which had a population of 35,199 according to the 2022 census.
Manorhamilton is the second-largest town in County Leitrim, Ireland. It is located on the N16 26 kilometres (16 mi) from Sligo and 41 kilometres (25 mi) from Enniskillen.

St Brigid's GAA Club is a Gaelic Athletic Association club located in the parishes of Kiltoom and Cam in County Roscommon, Ireland. They play in green and red colours and their home pitch is at Newpark, Kiltoom. The club was founded in 1944 and is the home club of former Roscommon inter-county player Gerry O'Malley. The club has won one All-Ireland Senior Club Football Championship, beating Ballymun Kickhams in the All-Ireland Club Final on St Patrick's Day, 17 March 2013.

Dunedin Connollys Gaelic Football Club is a Scottish GAA club based in Edinburgh, Scotland. Founded in 1988, the club takes its name from the Gaelic name for Edinburgh, Dùn Èideann and the surname of Edinburgh-born Irish republican and socialist leader James Connolly. Dunedin Connollys have won the Scottish Championship 17 times and the British GAA title four times, most recently in 2018. The Dublin Ladies' Senior Football Championship is the senior Ladies' Gaelic football competition featuring clubs affiliated to the Dublin GAA. Ballyboden St. Enda's are the competitions most successful club, having won 10 titles. Between 2000 and 2008 they completed a nine-in-a-row. They won their tenth title in 2010. In more recent seasons, the most successful club has been Foxrock–Cabinteely. Between 2015 and 2021 they completed a seven-in-a-row. The winners of the Dublin Senior Ladies' Football Championship are awarded the Michael Murphy Perpetual Cup. They also qualify to play in the Leinster Ladies' Senior Club Football Championship and if they win that, they qualify for the All-Ireland Ladies' Club Football Championship.
The 2011–12 All-Ireland Senior Club Football Championship was the 42nd staging of the All-Ireland Senior Club Football Championship since its establishment by the Gaelic Athletic Association in 1970-71. The championship began on 16 October 2011 and ended on 31 March 2012.

Dearbháile Beirne is an Irish dual code footballer from Mohill in County Leitrim. In soccer she plays for Peamount United of the Women's National League (WNL) and has represented the Republic of Ireland women's national football team at youth and senior level. She has also played Ladies' Gaelic football for Leitrim GAA, competing in the Ladies' National Football League and All-Ireland Intermediate Ladies' Football Championship.
Cathal Flynn was an Irish Gaelic footballer who played for club sides Gorvagh and Seán McDermotts and at inter-county level with the Leitrim senior football team. He usually lined out as a forward.
