Li Yinquan

Li Yinquan (Chinese :李引泉; born April 1955) is a Chinese economist. He is the chairman of the executive director of the China Merchants China Direct Investments Limited and the chief financial officer and has became the vice president of the China Merchants Group. He is also director of the Chinese General Chamber of Commerce. He is also the Hong Kong deputy to the National People's Congress.

Chinese language family of languages

Chinese is a group of related, but in many cases not mutually intelligible, language varieties, forming the Sinitic branch of the Sino-Tibetan language family. Chinese is spoken by the ethnic Chinese majority and many minority ethnic groups in China. About 1.2 billion people speak some form of Chinese as their first language.

China Merchants Group is a state-owned corporation of People's Republic of China. It is the major shareholder of China Merchants Holdings (International) (55.4%) as well as China Merchants Bank (18%). The company's headquarters are located on the top floor of China Merchants Tower, Shun Tak Centre, Hong Kong.

Chinese General Chamber of Commerce organization

The Chinese General Chamber of Commerce is a non-profit organization of local Chinese firms and businessman based in Hong Kong. Founded in 1900 by Ho Fook and Lau Chu-pak, the two prominent leaders of the Chinese community in the colonial period. It is one of the oldest and largest chambers of commerce in Hong Kong. At present, the Chamber has a membership of over 6,000, comprising association, company and individual members. This organization is not to be confused with the China General Chamber of Commerce-U.S.A. in New York.

Graduated from the graduate school of the People's Bank of China with the Master of Economics in 1986 and the Finafrica Institute in Milan, Italy with a master's degree in Banking & Finance in 1988, he worked with the Agricultural Bank of China for 14 years and became the deputy general manager of Hong Kong branch. He joined the China Merchants Group Limited in January 2000 and has served respectively as the general manager of finance department, deputy chief financial officer and chief financial officer and has became the vice president since March 2004. Li was once honoured as "China CFO of the Year for 2005" and "China Best CIO for the Year 2006". [1]

It was founded in 1951, and has its headquarters in Dongcheng District, Beijing. It has branches throughout mainland China, Hong Kong, London, Tokyo, New York, Frankfurt, Sydney, Seoul, and Singapore.

Norman Chan Tak-Lam, SBS, JP, is a Hong Kong banker, treasury official, and civil servant.
