Liesbet Van Breedam-Simurina (born 27 January 1979) is a beach volleyball player from Belgium. She is partnered in the 2008 Summer Olympics with Liesbeth Mouha.

Charles Frederick "Karch" Kiraly is an American volleyball player, coach and broadcast announcer. He is the only player to have won Olympic gold medals in both the indoor and beach volleyball categories. April Ross American beach volleyball player

April Elizabeth Ross is an American professional beach volleyball player. She won a silver medal at the 2012 Summer Olympics with Jennifer Kessy, and a bronze medal at the 2016 Summer Olympics with Kerri Walsh Jennings. Ross and Kessy were also the 2009 Beach Volleyball World Champions.

NCAA Beach Volleyball Championship

The NCAA Beach Volleyball Championship is an NCAA-sanctioned tournament to determine the national champions of collegiate women's beach volleyball. It is a National Collegiate Championship featuring teams from Division I, Division II and Division III, and is the 90th, and newest, NCAA championship event. It was the first new NCAA championship to be created since the NCAA Division III Men's Volleyball Championship in 2012, and the first for women since the NCAA Bowling Championship in 2004.

Sarah Lindsey Pavan is a Canadian beach volleyball and former indoor volleyball player. She was part of the Canada women's national volleyball team at the 2010 FIVB Volleyball Women's World Championship in Japan. With Melissa Humana-Paredes she won the women's gold medal at the 2019 Beach Volleyball World Championships.

Beach volleyball at the 2018 Commonwealth Games

Beach Volleyball at the 2018 Commonwealth Games was held on the Gold Coast, Australia from 6 to 12 April. The beach volleyball competition was held at Coolangatta Beachfront. This was the first time that Beach Volleyball was held at the Commonwealth Games. A total of twelve men's and twelve women's teams are scheduled to compete in each respective tournament.
