Lilas Vasilikou is a football club in Euboea, Greece. Some years ago[ when? ], they played in the Greek Third Division. The team was later disbanded and recreated, and plays in the topical[ clarification needed ] championship.

The Double-headed eagles derby is a football derby between AEK Athens and PAOK. Both teams have the same roots, being refugees from Constantinople, after the Greco-Turkish War, the Asia Minor Catastrophe and the population exchange. Both teams use the same emblem, to reminisce the Byzantine Empire, but in different colors. The first match between the two teams took place in Leoforos Alexandras Stadium in Athens during the final phase of the 1930–31 Panhellenic Championship. The rivalry used to remain on-pitch for several years. However, since the Greek Cup Final of 2017 there is an ongoing, intense and overall exaggeration of the rivalry, further boosted after the championship conquered by AEK in 2018, when PAOK were deducted 3 points by court decision for their armed owner's invasion on the pitch and AEK were given 3 points, which adjudged the title holder.

It was the first time that the match was held outside Athens or Thessaloniki Prefecture. The 2019 Greek Cup final was the 75th final of the Greek Cup. It took place on 11 May 2019 at Olympic Stadium, between PAOK and AEK Athens for a third time in row. It was PAOK's twentieth Greek Cup final and third consecutive, in their 93 years of existence and AEK Athens' twenty fourth Greek Cup final and fourth consecutive, of their 95-year history. For security issues, the match occurred behind closed doors with 1,500 invitations been distributed by both clubs and the HFF.
