Lione/Conti is a collaborative album by Italian power metal singers Fabio Lione (Angra,Turilli / Lione Rhapsody,ex-Rhapsody of Fire,ex-Vision Divine,ex-Labyrinth) and Alessandro Conti (Trick or Treat,Luca Turilli's Rhapsody) under the moniker Lione/Conti. It was released through Frontiers Records on 26 January 2018 [4] [1] [2] (one source says 18 January. [5] ). The project was conceived by Frontiers's president Serafino Perugino,who was willing to create an Italian version of the label's Allen/Lande partnership. [3] The album was written and produced by Simone Mularoni (DGM). [1] [2]

Writing for Metal Hammer Italia, Dario Cattaneo praised the album's overall quality, but criticized it for sounding too similar to bands such as Kamelot and DGM itself instead of the bombastic symphonic epic metal the two vocalists are more associated with. [3]
Fabio Tordiglione, known professionally as Fabio Lione, is an Italian singer who has worked with many bands in the metal genre. He was known for being the singer of Italian symphonic power metal band Rhapsody of Fire for 21 years. He later formed his own band Turilli / Lione Rhapsody with former Rhapsody of Fire guitarist Luca Turilli. He is also the current lead vocalist of Angra, and was the original singer of Labyrinth and Vision Divine.

Spirits of Fire is an American/Italian supergroup consisting of Savatage and Trans-Siberian Orchestra guitarist Chris Caffery, Testament bassist Steve Di Giorgio, and former Fates Warning drummer Mark Zonder. The identity of Owens' replacement was kept secret while the band was recording their second album. The new singer Fabio Lione was announced 8 December 2021 with their second album Embrace The Unknown that was released on 28 February 2022 via Frontiers Records.
