Lione/Conti is a collaborative album by Italian power metal singers Fabio Lione (Angra, Turilli / Lione Rhapsody, ex-Rhapsody of Fire, ex-Vision Divine, ex-Labyrinth) and Alessandro Conti (Trick or Treat, Luca Turilli's Rhapsody) under the moniker Lione/Conti. It was released through Frontiers Records on 26 January 2018 [4] [1] [2] (one source says 18 January. [5] ). The project was conceived by Frontiers's president Serafino Perugino, who was willing to create an Italian version of the label's Allen/Lande partnership. [3] The album was written and produced by Simone Mularoni (DGM). [1] [2]

Writing for Metal Hammer Italia, Dario Cattaneo praised the album's overall quality, but criticized it for sounding too similar to bands such as Kamelot and DGM itself instead of the bombastic symphonic epic metal the two vocalists are more associated with. [3]

He was known for being the singer of Italian power metal band Rhapsody of Fire for 21 years. He later formed his own band Turilli / Lione Rhapsody with former Rhapsody of Fire guitarist Luca Turilli. Turilli / Lione Rhapsody is an Italian symphonic metal band formed on December 5, 2018 by former Rhapsody of Fire members Luca Turilli and Fabio Lione. The lineup also includes former Rhapsody of Fire members Alex Holzwarth, Patrice Guers, and Dominique Leurquin. Prior to the band's formation, the same lineup performed under the Rhapsody moniker for the 20th Anniversary Farewell Tour, which celebrated 20 years of the original band's existence. On the same day that the band formed, the band started a crowdfunding campaign on Indiegogo to fund their debut studio album.

Alessandro Del Vecchio is an Italian multi-instrumentalist and producer, best known for his collaborations with hard rock and heavy metal artists such as Jørn Lande, Revolution Saints, Hardline, Fergie Frederiksen, Ted Poley, Kelly Keeling and Mat Sinner, and for his work as the in-house producer for Neapolitan record label Frontiers Music SRL from his personal Ivorytears Music Works Studio located just north of Milan.
