Srikishan Sarda College, also known as S.S. College, established in 1950, is a general degree college situated in Hailakandi, Assam. The college is affiliated with the Assam University. The principal of the college is Hilal Uddin Laskar. This college consists of various 15 departments of Science, Arts and Commerce stream. Also this college was accrediated with NAAC A grade on 2011. Various facilities such as Library, Canteen, Gymnasium are available at this college. As per reports, this college provides the facility to join National Cadet Corps and National Service Scheme. This college also consists of one Institutional Biotech Hub and a Bioresource Complex. The Bioresource Complex is a joint project initiated by Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati and Srikishan Sarda College. The main aim of this project is to promote the medicinal plants and other valuable organic assets of Hailakandi district. This prestigious institution also started their year long Platinum Jubilee Celebration from 18th September, 2024.

Mohammad Islam Khan (1957–2010) was an Indian glycobiologist and a scientist at the National Chemical Laboratory. Known for his studies on the biology of Lectins, Khan was an elected fellow of the National Academy of Sciences, India, Maharashtra Academy of Sciences and the Muslim Association for the Advancement of Science. The Department of Biotechnology of the Government of India awarded him the National Bioscience Award for Career Development, one of the highest Indian science awards, for his contributions to biosciences in 2002.

It is a colorless liquid which possesses characteristic coconut aroma, produced biologically by Trichoderma species. It is found in animal foods, peach, and heated beef.

Kabhi Kabhie Ittefaq Sey is an Indian drama television series that premiered on 3 January 2022. It was aired on StarPlus and is digitally available on Disney+ Hotstar. It stars Yesha Rughani and Manan Joshi. It is a loose Hindi adaptation of Star Jalsha's Khorkuto. The series went off-air on 20 August 2022.
