Velikite Balgari is a Bulgarian spin-off of the 2002 BBC television program 100 Greatest Britons. Aired on the Bulgarian National Television's Kanal 1, its first stage began on 9 June 2006 and finished on 10 December, with a show on 23 December announcing the names of the Top 100 as chosen by popular vote. The Top 10 were announced in alphabetical order. In the second stage, which lasted until 17 February 2007, the viewers determined the order in the Top 10. Documentaries dedicated to every Top 10 personality were aired during the second stage.

Shaikhzada Muhametzakirovich Babich was a Bashkir poet, writer and playwright. He is considered a classic author of Bashkir national literature. He was a member of the Bashkir national liberation movement, and a member of the Bashkir government (1917–1919).
Zagir Gharif uly Ismagilov was a Soviet Bashkir composer and pedagogue. He was granted the title People's Artist of the USSR in 1982, and was a member of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union since 1943. The performing arts center in Ufa, Russia is named after him. The first rector and founder of the Ufa Institute of arts (1968–1988).
Bashkir State Academic Drama TheaterMajit Gafuri operates in the Ufa city, the capital of the Republic of Bashkortostan of Russian Federations. The foundation of the theater was laid on December 4, 1919, in Sterlitamak - the capital of the Bashkir Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic. Its first art director was Valiulla Mortazin-Imansky. The theater has been moved to Ufa since 1922 and joined with the Tatar-Bashkir troupe of the Ufa State Theater. It has the status of academic drama theater since 1935 and was renamed as Majit Gafuri in 1971. The monument of "Majit Gafuri" was erected in front of the theater.
