The following is a list of Detroit Mercy Titans men's basketball head coaches. There have been 22 head coaches of the Titans in their 116-season history. [1]

Detroit Mercy's current head coach is Mike Davis. He was hired as the Titans' head coach in June 2018, [2] replacing Bacari Alexander, who was fired after the 2020–21 season. [3]

  1. Sicko resigned three games into the 1987–88 season. Mulroy served as interim coach for the remainder of the season. [4]
  2. Watson took a leave of absence in January 2008 for medical reasons. Assistant coach Kevin Mondro oversaw the team in his absence, [5] but Detroit Mercy credits the team's record during this period to Watson. [1]

Michael Davis is an American basketball coach. He is the head men's basketball coach at the University of Detroit Mercy, a position he has held since 2018. Davis served as the head men's basketball coach at Indiana University Bloomington from 2000 to 2006, the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) from 2006 to 2012, and Texas Southern University from 2012 to 2018.

Perry Watson is an American college basketball coach from Detroit, Michigan. He played for Eastern Michigan University, graduating in 1972.

The Detroit Mercy Titans men's basketball team is the college basketball team that represents University of Detroit Mercy in Detroit, Michigan, and competes in NCAA Division I men's basketball as a member of the Horizon League. Traditionally, the Titans have been a fair "mid-major" program, advancing to the Sweet Sixteen in 1977 and to the Round of 32 in 1998 and 1999. The Titans are currently coached by Mike Davis, who was hired on June 13, 2018. The Titans play their home games at Calihan Hall on the school's McNichols Campus.

Scott Perry is an American basketball executive and former coach. He served as the general manager for the New York Knicks of the National Basketball Association (NBA) from 2017 to 2023. His contract expired at the end of the 2023 season, and the Knicks decided not to bring him back.

Bacari Torrell Alexander is an American college basketball coach, formerly the men's basketball head coach at Detroit Mercy. He is a former assistant coach at Michigan, Western Michigan, Ohio, and Detroit Mercy. At Michigan, Alexander was responsible for coaching the team's post players, developing defensive strategies, scouting opponents and on-court coaching. In six seasons as an assistant coach under Michigan head coach John Beilein, Michigan advanced to the NCAA tournament each year, won Big Ten Conference regular season championships in 2012 and 2014 and appeared in the Elite 8 in 2014 and the National Championship in 2013.

He played high school basketball for Columbia Christian Schools. He was one of 26 players selected for the April 18, 2014 Jordan Brand Classic. He is a cousin of Ndamukong Suh.

They finished the season 16–20, 12–6 in SWAC play to finish in a three-way tie for second place. Due to Grambling State's Academic Progress Rate violations and subsequent postseason ineligibility, they received the No. 3 seed in the SWAC tournament where they defeated Alabama State, Prairie View A&M and Arkansas–Pine Bluff to become SWAC Tournament champions. They received the SWAC's automatic bid to the NCAA tournament where they defeated North Carolina Central in the First Four before losing in the first round to Xavier.

Antoine Davis is an American professional basketball player for the Rip City Remix of the NBA G League. He played college basketball for the Detroit Mercy Titans. He was twice named the Horizon League Player of the Year, a five-time All-Horizon League First Team selection, and finished his career as NCAA Division I's second all-time leading scorer with 3,664 points and all-time three-point shot maker.

They finished the season 13–18, 9–11 in Horizon League play to tie for eighth place. They defeated Purdue Fort Wayne in the first round of the Horizon League Tournament before losing to Youngstown State in the quarterfinals.
