Michael-Hakim Jordan, is an American basketball coach and former professional player who was formerly the men's basketball head coach of the Lafayette Leopards men's basketball team.

Ernie Nestor is an American college basketball coach, formally an assistant coach at the University of Missouri. Head coach Frank Haith named Nestor to this post in April, 2011. He was formerly the head coach of the Elon University and George Mason men's basketball teams. Nestor, a native of Philippi, West Virginia, was a long-time assistant at Wake Forest University, including an eight-year stint for head coach Dave Odom. He has also been on the coaching staffs of California, James Madison and South Carolina during his career.
Billy Taylor is an American college basketball coach. He is the current head coach for the Elon Phoenix men's basketball team. Taylor previously served as the head men's basketball coach at Lehigh University from 2002 to 2007 and Ball State University from 2007 to 2013.
Warren Weston Miller is an American basketball coach and former player, who is the head men's basketball coach at the University of Cincinnati. Born in Greensboro, North Carolina, he played at the collegiate level for James Madison University and the University of North Carolina–Chapel Hill, where he graduated in 2007. Professionally, Miller played for London Capital of the British Basketball League. He was previously head coach at UNC Greensboro, and served stints as an assistant coach at Elon University and High Point University.
The Elon Phoenix men's soccer team is a varsity intercollegiate athletic team of Elon University located in Elon, North Carolina. The team is a member of the Coastal Athletic Association (CAA), which is part of the National Collegiate Athletic Association's Division I.
Greg Herenda is an American basketball coach and former player. He is currently an assistant coach at Elon. He is the former head coach of the Fairleigh Dickinson Knights men's basketball team. and previously served as the head coach at UMass Lowell.
Rich Skrosky is an American college football coach and former player who is currently a senior analyst for Duke. He was hired as head football coach at Elon University for the 2014 season. Skrosky served as an assistant coach at Elon under Pete Lembo from 2006 to 2010. Lembo's tenure brought new success to Elon's football program, which made its first FCS playoff appearance in 2009. Lembo was hired as head coach at Ball State University after the 2010 season. Skrosky joined Lembo's staff as offensive coordinator.

The first tournament was the 2K Sports Classic and the season concluded with the Final Four in Minneapolis on April 8, 2019. Practices officially began on September 28, 2018. The season saw Zion Williamson dominate Player of the Year honors and media attention, while Virginia won its first NCAA Championship. The NCAA Championship Game between Virginia and Texas Tech would mark the final NCAA game with a 20-foot 9 inch three-point shot line, as it moved out to the FIBA standard of 22 feet and 2 inches the following year.

Mike Schrage is an American basketball coach, currently a Special Assistant to the Head Coach at Duke University. He was formerly the head coach for the Elon Phoenix men's basketball team. He has a wife (Amanda) and two children.
The 2019–20 Ohio State Buckeyes men's basketball team represented Ohio State University in the 2019–20 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. Their head coach was Chris Holtmann, in his third season with the Buckeyes. The Buckeyes played their home games at Value City Arena in Columbus, Ohio as members of the Big Ten Conference. They finished the season 21–10, 11–9 in Big Ten play to finish in a four-way tie for fifth place. Following the regular season, the Big Ten tournament was canceled due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Shortly thereafter, all postseason tournaments were canceled due to the pandemic, ending the Buckeyes' season.
