Georgia Tech's current head coach is Damon Stoudamire. He was hired in March 2023,^[2] replacing Josh Pastner, who was fired after the 2022–23 season.^[3]

Damon Lamon Stoudamire, nicknamed Mighty Mouse, is an American college basketball coach and former player who is currently the head coach for the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets of the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC). The 5 ft 10 in (1.78 m), 171 lb (78 kg) point guard was selected with the 7th overall pick by the Toronto Raptors in the 1995 NBA draft and won the 1995–96 NBA Rookie of the Year Award. He played collegiately at the University of Arizona, and professionally for the Toronto Raptors, Portland Trail Blazers, Memphis Grizzlies and San Antonio Spurs.

Eric Wendell Reveno is an American assistant college basketball coach at Oregon State and the former head men's basketball coach at Portland. He was named the West Coast Conference coach of the year for the 2008–09 season after a third-place finish in conference.

Mark Edward Phelps is an American basketball coach who is currently the head coach at Prolific Prep. Prior to his current job, Phelps was an assistant at the University of Arizona from 2015-2019. Phelps spent the 2013–14 season as an assistant coach for Marquette University. His most recent NCAA head coaching job was with the Drake University men's basketball team. He was named the 25th head basketball coach at Drake University and successor to Keno Davis on April 21, 2008. He was fired by Drake on March 14, 2013. The 2016–17 Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets men's basketball team represented the Georgia Institute of Technology during the 2016–17 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. They were led by first-year head coach Josh Pastner and played their home games at Hank McCamish Pavilion as members of the Atlantic Coast Conference. They finished the season 21–16, 8–10 in ACC play to finish in 11th place. They lost in the first round of the ACC tournament to Pittsburgh. The Yellow Jackets received an invitation to the National Invitation Tournament where they defeated Indiana, Belmont, and Ole Miss to advance to the semifinals at Madison Square Garden. At MSG, they defeated Cal State Bakersfield before losing in the championship game to TCU.

They lost in the first round to Loyola. It was the first time since 2010 that the Yellow Jackets had participated in the NCAA Tournament, and their first ACC Championship since 1993.

Michael Jaden Devoe is an American professional basketball player for the Memphis Hustle of the NBA G League. He played college basketball for the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets.
