This is a list of seasons completed by the Ohio State Buckeyes women's ice hockey team. The list documents the season-by-season records of the Buckeyes from 2000 to present, including conference and national post season records. The team began club play in 1977 but did not begin intercollegiate play until 1999. [1]

The Ohio State Buckeyes are the intercollegiate athletic teams that represent Ohio State University, located in Columbus, Ohio. The athletic programs are named after the colloquial term for people from the state of Ohio and after the state tree, the Ohio buckeye. The Buckeyes participate in the National Collegiate Athletic Association's (NCAA) Division I in all sports and the Big Ten Conference in most sports. The Ohio State women's ice hockey team competes in the Western Collegiate Hockey Association (WCHA). The school colors are scarlet and gray. The university's mascot is Brutus Buckeye. "THE" is the official trademark of the Ohio State University merchandise. Led by its gridiron program, the Buckeyes have the largest overall sports endowment of any campus in North America.
Tessa Bonhomme is a Canadian former professional ice hockey player and is a television sports reporter for The Sports Network (TSN). She was an Olympic gold medallist as a member of the Canadian national women's hockey team and played for the Toronto Furies in the Canadian Women's Hockey League. She was also co-captain of the Ohio State Buckeyes women's ice hockey team in the NCAA.
Emma Kristiina Laaksonen Terho is a Finnish ice hockey executive, retired defenceman and the current Chair of the IOC Athletes' Commission. She previously served as general manager of Kiekko-Espoo Naiset in the Naisten Liiga. At the 1998 Winter Olympics in Nagano she became the youngest Winter Olympian to medal for Finland, winning a bronze medal at the age of 16 years 54 days.
The Ohio State Buckeyes men's ice hockey team is an NCAA Division I college ice hockey program that represents Ohio State University. The Buckeyes are a member of the Big Ten Conference. They play at Value City Arena in Columbus, Ohio.
The RIT Tigers men's ice hockey team is a collegiate ice hockey team representing the Rochester Institute of Technology in suburban Rochester, New York, United States. The school's men's team competes in the Division I Atlantic Hockey conference. The team has won two national championships, one each at the Division II and Division III levels. It lost in the semifinals of the Division I "Frozen Four" in 2010.
Hilary Atwood Knight is an American ice hockey forward and captain of Boston of the Professional Women's Hockey League (PWHL). She also plays for the United States women's national team. She previously played for the Les Canadiennes de Montréal of the CWHL and the Boston Pride of the NWHL, with whom she won the inaugural Isobel Cup.
Minnamari "Minttu" Tuominen is a Finnish ice hockey player, currently playing in the Naisten Liiga (NSML) with Kiekko-Espoo. A member of the Finnish national ice hockey team since 2008, she has earned medals at three Winter Olympic Games and five IIHF World Women's Championships.
The Ohio State Buckeyes women's ice hockey team represents Ohio State University in NCAA Division I competition in the Western Collegiate Hockey Association (WCHA) conference. The team plays in Columbus, Ohio at The Ohio State Ice Rink, located on the Ohio State campus.
Nadine Muzerall is a Canadian former ice hockey player and current coach of the Ohio State Buckeyes women's ice hockey team. While attending the University of Minnesota as a student, she became their all-time leader with 139 career goals, including a record 40 power-play goals. She was also a member of the inaugural team of University of Minnesota women's hockey.
Natalie Marie Spooner is a Canadian professional ice hockey player for PWHL Toronto of the Professional Women's Hockey League (PWHL) and a member of the Canadian national women's team.
Penn State Nittany Lions men's ice hockey, formerly known as the Penn State Icers, is a college ice hockey program that represents the Pennsylvania State University. Prior to the 2012–13 season the program was designated a club sport and competed at the ACHA Division I level. PSU was previously a member of the Eastern States Collegiate Hockey League (ESCHL, although the team competed as an independent ACHA D-I member for the 2011–12 season before moving to the NCAA D-I level. They play at the Pegula Ice Arena in University Park, Pennsylvania.
The 2011–12 NCAA Division I women's ice hockey season began in October, 2011, and ended with the 2012 NCAA Division I Women's Ice Hockey Tournament's championship game in March, 2012.
The 2011–12 WCHA women's ice hockey season marked the continuation of the annual tradition of competitive ice hockey among Western Collegiate Hockey Association members.
Stefanie McKeough is a Canadian retired ice hockey player, currently serving as assistant coach to PWHL Boston in the Professional Women's Hockey League (PWHL) and assistant coach to Canada's National Women's Under-18 Team. She previously served as both assistant and head coach to the Ottawa Gee-Gees women's ice hockey program in the Réseau du sport étudiant du Québec (RSEQ) of U Sports, and head coach of Göteborg HC in the Swedish Women's Hockey League (SDHL). During her playing career, she competed for the Canadian national team at several international tournaments and played with the Wisconsin Badgers in the NCAA.
The Lindenwood Lady Lions ice hockey team represents Lindenwood University located in St. Charles, Missouri. The Lady Lions currently participate in the NCAA Division I competition as a member of College Hockey America (CHA). The team played with no conference affiliation as an Independent program for its first season of NCAA competition. During the 2011–12 season, Lindenwood was accepted into College Hockey America (CHA) beginning in the 2012–2013 season. Prior to 2011 the university was a member of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA), because the organization does not sponsor women's ice hockey, the program competed in the American Collegiate Hockey Association at the ACHA DI level.
Jincy Rose Roese is a women's ice hockey player for PWHL Ottawa of the Professional Women's Hockey League (PWHL) and a member of the United States national team. She represented the USA at the 2022 Winter Olympics.
Jacqueline M. Barto (née Gladu) is an American former ice hockey coach. She was the first and only women's hockey coach for the Ohio State Buckeyes women's ice hockey team. At the time of her retirement in 2011, Barto had coached more than 500 games in her career and ranked eighth in career victories among NCAA Division I coaches. Barto’s final record at OSU was 248–272–52, a .433 winning percentage.
Corinne Schroeder is a Canadian ice hockey goaltender, currently playing in the Professional Women's Hockey League (PWHL) with PWHL New York.
Sophie Jaques is a Canadian ice hockey defender for PWHL Minnesota of the Professional Women's Hockey League (PWHL). She was selected tenth overall by PWHL Boston in the 2023 PWHL Draft. Jaques played college ice hockey at Ohio State and won the Patty Kazmaier Award in 2023.
