The Mikoyan Project 1.44/1.42 was a multirole fighter technology demonstrator developed by the Mikoyan design bureau. It was designed for the Soviet Union's MFI project for the I-90 program, the answer to the U.S.'s Advanced Tactical Fighter (ATF). The MFI was to incorporate many fifth-generation jet fighter features such as supermaneuverability, supercruise, and advanced avionics, as well as some degree of radar signature reduction.

The company was one of the largest suppliers of kitchens and bedroom furniture in the United Kingdom, and operated mainly in retail parks in out of town locations. Anecdotally, it was said at one stage that one in three Sunday lunches in the United Kingdom were cooked in a kitchen from MFI, and 60% of British children were conceived in a bedroom from MFI.
The Pakistan Air ForceAcademyAsghar Khan is an accredited three-year military academy which provides undergraduate education to officer candidates for the Pakistan Air Force. The eligible and selected candidates from all over Pakistan are sent to PAF Academy Risalpur for flying training. It is located in the town of Risalpur in Nowshera District of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province in northwestern Pakistan, it is a premier cadet training institution of the Pakistan Air Force which offers academic professional degrees. Its role is the training of General Duty Pilots (GDP), Aeronautical and Avionics Engineers and the initial training of other Ground Branch cadets. Cadets of all branches join the academy following a recommendation by the Inter Services Selection Board (ISSB) of Pakistan and the Air Headquarters Special Selection Board for Short Service Commission candidates. Graduates of the Academy's four-year program receive a Bachelor of Science degree, and are commissioned as Flying Officers (Lieutenants) in the Pakistan Air Force.

The PAC MFI-17 Mushshak is a license-built fixed-gear basic trainer aircraft manufactured by PAC. An improved version of the Saab Safari (MFI-15), the MFI-17 is manufactured in Kamra, Pakistan, by Pakistan Aeronautical Complex (PAC). Built to Mil-Spec and fully aerobatic, it is used for training, towing and other ground support roles. An upgraded version, the PAC Super Mushshak, has also been produced by PAC. As of 2022, there were 477 MFI-15/17/395 in use, making it one of the most commonly used training aircraft in the world.

The Gender Identity Development Service (GIDS) is a nationally operated health clinic in the United Kingdom that specialises in working with children with gender identity issues, including gender dysphoria. Launched in 1989, GIDS is commissioned by NHS England and takes referrals from across the UK, although it is operated at a Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation Trust site. GIDS is the only gender identity clinic for people under 18 in England and Wales and is the subject of much controversy. In July 2022, the NHS decided to close GIDS and replace it with regional healthcare centres in 2023, following the release of an interim report on the provision of gender identity services for children and adolescents conducted by paediatrician Hilary Cass.
