Zhang Qian is heavy-hearted when he realized that he will be alone with Yunling once Qiuxue moves out. Unbeknownst to all, Zhang Qian’s and Yunling’s marriage has reached a breaking point. Yunling tells Zhang Qian she is prepared to return him his freedom once their daughter is married.

Yunling buys a single bed and tries to get Qiuxue to stay with her. However Qiuxue refused saying that Tingkai is not willing to as that would mean marrying into their family. Despite this, Qiuxue agrees to buy a house that is near to Yunling’s home.

Chuning is pregnant but refused to tell Qiuyu. She tried to test Qiuyu, and Qiuyu responded saying that it might be better not to have a second child. Chuning is disappointed that her hard work in grooming her daughter is seen to be a torture to her in Qiuyu's eyes. She decides to go for an abortion.

Chuning invites Alice to dine at an expensive restaurant, and puts on a blouse bought by Qiuyu to show off. Alice tells them she envies their happy family, but Chuning says she envies Alice's freedom as a singleton. Chuning chats enthusiastically but reveals her ignorance. Qiuyu and Alice exchange a meaningful glance.

Qiuyu accompanies Qiuxue to her gynaecologist, but realised that Chuning had an abortion there. Qiuyu is shocked beyond belief and is unable to forgive Chuning. He goes drinking and bumps into Alice and her friends. Unwilling to go home, he seeks refuge at Alice's home. He breaks down in tears as Alice comforts him quietly.

Chuning asked Qiuyu's secretary out for lunch and is convinced that May is the other person in Qiuyu's life. May on the other hand tries to coax Qiuyu to stop his indiscreetness. Qiuyu is at a loss of words and can only lament that his relationship with Chuning has changed.

Guangming received a call from Tingkai's biological mother and learnt that his father has died. She hoped Tingkai would be able to pay his last respects to him. Tingkai refused to face reality and ran away en route to the funeral. Qiuxue is unhappy that Tingkai didn't come clean with her on his adoption matter.

Qiuyu and Chuning have a huge fight over Alice. Qiuyu explained that there is nothing between Alice and himself but Chuning refused to believe. Qiuyu is heartbroken over his failed marriage.

Alice is guilty for dragging Qiuyu into the whole mess and pays Chuning a visit to apologise to her. Chuning however attacks her. Qiuyu comes home in time to stop Chuning. Chuning is devastated when she sees Qiuyu showing concern for Alice instead of her.

Qiuyu pays Alice a visit and discovered that Alice likes him. Unable to help it, Qiuyu and Alice hugged each other but decide to put a stop to their emotions. To stop their relationship from developing further, Alice decides to go overseas for further studies.

Three years is almost up and it is time for Maoshun and Yunling to sign the divorce papers. Both however feel that their relationship has taken a turn for the better. While everybody are hopeful for a reconciliation, both however do not have the confidence to see it through. Yunling finally decide to reconcile and intend to give Maoshun a surprise at the lawyer's office. However, Maoshun goes missing.

Maoshun's sudden disappearance worried Yunling. Yunling delivers a heart-felt speech at a talk despite his absence. Chuning and Qiuyu are touched and enlightened by her speech. Both wondered if they have what it take to work on their broken marriages.

Poetic Justice is a Singaporean Chinese-language drama television series. It depicts the lives of a group of people doing investigative journalism, and was telecasted on Singapore's free-to-air channel, MediaCorp Channel 8. It stars Rui En, Dai Xiangyu, Rebecca Lim & Desmond Tan as the casts of the series. It will make its debut on 11 September 2012. This drama serial consists of 20 episodes, and was screened on every weekday night at 9:00 pm.

Star Awards 2013 was a double television award ceremony held in Singapore. It is part of the annual Star Awards organised by MediaCorp for the two free-to-air channels, MediaCorp Channel 8 and MediaCorp Channel U. Star Awards 2013 was broadcast live on Channel 8, on 21 April 2013 and 28 April 2013. The first ceremony was held at the MediaCorp TV Theatre while the second ceremony was held at the Marina Bay Sands.
