SC Juventude da Furna is a Capeverdean football (soccer) club based in the port town of Furna in the northeast of the island. The club was founded on March 13 2010, the youngest club on the island and the first Capeverdean club founded in the current decade.Juventude Furna currently play in the Brava Island League, their only national championship participation was in the 2013 Cape Verdean Football Championships. Juventude Furna has never been lower than the second tier. [1]
Furna is a Swiss village in the Prättigau and a municipality in the political district Prättigau/Davos Region in the canton of Graubünden.
The 2013 Cape Verdean Football Championship season was the 34th of the competition of the first-tier football in Cape Verde. Its started on 11 May and finished on 13 July, slightly earlier than last year. The tournament was organized by the Cape Verdean Football Federation. CS Mindelense won the ninth title. They did not participate in the 2014 CAF Champions League. In 2014, Mindelense would become the second and most recent club to win both the cup and the super cup title in the same season.
