This is a list of fictional alien species from the science fiction series Sector General , in alphabetical order. The species' name is followed where known by its four-letter physiological classification.

It is notable that some of these species are sentient life forms, while others may not be.

In Final Diagnosis, in which Telfi are very significant to the outcome of the plot, they are described as lizard-like in appearance, and about four-feet in length. Two members of other species, wearing protective garments, are safely able to touch them in this book.

After the Covenant leadership—the High Prophets—declare humanity an affront to their gods, claiming the extermination of humanity is the "will of the gods and we [the Covenant] are their [the gods'] instrument", the more advanced extraterrestrials subsequently prosecute a lengthy genocidal campaign against the technologically inferior human race.

<i>The Adventures of Teddy Ruxpin</i> television series

The Adventures of Teddy Ruxpin is an American/Canadian animated television series based on Teddy Ruxpin, an animatronic teddy bear created by Ken Forsse and distributed by toy manufacturer Worlds of Wonder. It was produced for television syndication by DIC Animation City with Atkinson Film-Arts using many of the same voice actors used in the book-and-tape series that was made for the eponymous animatronic toy. While some of the stories used in the TV series were adapted from the books, many were original and greatly expanded upon the world established there. The series differed from traditional children's animation in that most of its 65 episodes were serialized rather than in traditional episodic form.

A Kelgian is one of about seventy known intelligent species in the fictional Sector General universe, and one of the most common species in Sector 12 General Hospital itself. Overall, A Kelgian resembles a 5–6 ft. long furry caterpillar whose fur is constantly rippling in various patterns. The motion of the fur of a Kelgian is a completely accurate guide to what it is feeling and necessary for communication within the species itself. This trait makes the Kelgians completely incapable of any form of untruth.

Natural History of an Alien, also known as Anatomy of an Alien in the US, is an early Discovery Channel mockumentary similar to Alien Planet, aired in 1998. This mockumentary featured various alien ecosystem projects from the Epona Project to Ringworld. "The Handicapped" is a science fiction short story by Larry Niven, originally published in the December 1967 issue of Galaxy Science Fiction as "Handicap". Set in the Known Space universe, the story introduces the Grogs, the sessile but sentient inhabitants of the planet Down.

<i>Aether</i> (video game) video game

Aether is a video game designed by Edmund McMillen and Tyler Glaiel and published by Armor Games, released on September 3, 2008. Players control a lonely boy and an octopus-like monster that the boy encounters, solving puzzles on different planets to restore them from monochrome to color. The pair travel through space by swinging on clouds and asteroids with the monster's elongated tongue, searching other planets for life to which the boy can relate. It is also a part of The Basement Collection.
