The United States had an official estimated resident population of 333,287,557 on July 1, 2022, according to the U.S. Census Bureau. This figure includes the 50 states and the District of Columbia but excludes the population of five unincorporated U.S. territories as well as several minor island possessions. The United States is the third most populous country in the world. The Census Bureau showed a population increase of 0.4% for the twelve-month period ending in July 2022, below the world average annual rate of 0.9%. The total fertility rate in the United States estimated for 2022 is 1.665 children per woman, which is below the replacement fertility rate of approximately 2.1.
Dukes County is a county located in the U.S. state of Massachusetts. As of the 2020 census, the population was 20,600, making it the second-least populous county in Massachusetts. Its county seat is Edgartown.
Camp County is a county in the eastern part of Texas. As of the 2020 census, its population was 12,464. Its seat is Pittsburg. The county was founded in 1874 and is named for John Lafayette Camp, a Texas politician.
Varnell is a city in Whitfield County, Georgia, United States. It is part of the Dalton, Georgia Metropolitan Statistical Area. The population was 2,179 at the 2020 census.
St. Bonaventure is a hamlet and census-designated place (CDP) in the town of Allegany in Cattaraugus County, New York, United States. The population was 1,963 at the 2020 census.
Krum is a city in Denton County, Texas, United States. The population was 4,157 at the 2010 census, more than doubling its 2000 census population of 1,984. By 2020, its population was 5,483.
Edgecliff Village is a town in Tarrant County, Texas, United States. It is an enclave suburb of, and surrounded by, Fort Worth. The population was 2,776 at the 2010 census.
Kennedale is a city in Tarrant County, Texas, United States. The city had a population of 8,543 as of 2018.
Lake Worth is a city in Tarrant County, Texas, United States. The population was 4,584 at the 2010 census. The city is adjacent to, and named after, Lake Worth, a popular recreational lake in the northwestern portion of Tarrant County.
Rendon is a census-designated place (CDP) in Tarrant County, Texas, United States. The population was 13,533 in 2020.
River Oaks is a city in Tarrant County, Texas, United States. Its population was 7,427 at the 2010 census.
Sansom Park is a city in Tarrant County, Texas, United States. Its population was 4,686 at the 2010 census.
Agency Village is an unincorporated area and census-designated place (CDP) in Roberts County, South Dakota, United States. It is the headquarters of the Sisseton Wahpeton Oyate and home to Sisseton Wahpeton College. Since 2020, the CDP includes the community known as Goodwill. The population of the CDP was 776 at the 2020 census.
The United States has a racially and ethnically diverse population. At the federal level, race and ethnicity have been categorized separately. The most recent United States census recognized seven racial categories, as well as people who belong to two or more of the racial categories. The United States also recognizes the broader notion of ethnicity. The 2000 census and 2010 American Community Survey inquired about the "ancestry" of residents, whilst the 2020 census allowed people to enter their “origins”. The Census Bureau also classified respondents as "Hispanic or Latino" or "Not Hispanic or Latino", identifying as an ethnicity, which comprises the largest minority group in the nation.
Millwood is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) in Ware County, Georgia, United States, located west of Waycross. The community is part of the Waycross Micropolitan Statistical Area.
Romancoke is a census-designated place on Queen Anne's in Maryland, United States, located at the southern terminus of Maryland Route 8. Romancoke was changed from an unincorporated community to a census-designated place for the 2020 Census listing a population of 1,855. The name "Romancoke" comes from the Algonquian word for "circling of the water." William Claiborne, who founded Kent Island, also had a plantation in Virginia named Romancoke.
Morgantown is a census-designated place (CDP) in Adams County, Mississippi, United States, located to the northeast of the city of Natchez. As of the 2020 census, it had a population of 1,334.
Honeygo is a census designated place in Baltimore County, Maryland, United States. It first appeared as a CDP in the 2020 Census with a population of 12,927.
