However, Sinclair effectively owns WNUV, as the majority of Cunningham's stock is owned by the family of deceased group founder Julian Smith. The stations share studios on 41st Street off the Jones Falls Expressway on Television Hill in the Woodberry neighborhood of north Baltimore; WBFF and WNUV are also broadcast from the same tower on the hill.

WBEC-TV is an educational television station owned and operated by Broward County Public Schools, licensed to Boca Raton, Florida, United States. WBEC-TV broadcasts from studios in Davie and a transmitter in Pembroke Park; the school district also owns WKPX, a non-commercial radio station. Although the station is based in Broward County, WBEC-TV's city of license, Boca Raton, is located within Palm Beach County.

The channel's programming consists of serials, films, film-based programs and game shows alongside some reality shows. Gemini TV HD was launched on 11 December 2011.
