This is a list of fish harbours of Pakistan. Most of these were built from 2002 onwards but have been controversial because of damage to the local environments. [1]

The Port Muhammad Bin Qasim, or Qasim Port Authority, also known as Port Qasim, is a deep-water seaport in Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan, on the coastline of the Arabian Sea under the administrative control of the Secretary to the Government of Pakistan for Maritime Affairs. It is Pakistan's second busiest port, handling about 35% of the nation's cargo. Port Qasim and Karachi Port, the busiest port of country, together handle more than 90% of all external trade of Pakistan.

Administratively, Pasni is the headquarters of Pasni Tehsil, the sub-division of Gwadar District. Astola Island lies 40 km (25 mi) ESE of Pasni, in the Arabian Sea. The city of Pasni is itself administratively subdivided into two Union Councils.

It is located on the Karachi Harbour, between Kiamari azra langri, Manora, and Kakapir, and close to Karachi's main business district and several industrial areas. The geographic position of the port places it in close proximity to major shipping routes such as the Strait of Hormuz. The administration of the port is carried out by the Karachi Port Trust, which was established in 1857.

Gadani Town in Balochistan, Pakistan

Gadani is a coastal town of Hub District located in the southern part of Balochistan along the Arabian Sea, Pakistan. It is also a Union Council of Hub Tehsil and is just a 1-hour drive away from Karachi, Sindh. The population of Gadani was estimated to be around 10,000 in 2005. More than 97% of the population is Muslim with a small Hindu minority. The majority of the population speaks Balochi and there is a small Sindhi speaking minority. They belong to the Sanghur, Kurd, Sajdi, Muhammad Hasni, and Bezinjo tribes.

Korangi Fish Harbour is located in Chashma Goth, Deh Rehri, Korangi District, Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan. It is managed by Federal Ministry of Maritime Affairs, Government of Pakistan. The purpose for establishment of KoFHA was to exploit deep sea resources beyond provincial territorial water i.e. beyond 20 nautical miles.

Korangi Zoo established in 1990, is a zoological garden located at Korangi, Landhi Town, Karachi District, Sindh, Pakistan. It is spread over an area of approximately 4 acres (16,000 m2) and contains a fewer variety of animals compared to Karachi Zoo. The zoo operates under the City District Government Karachi and is a member of SAZARC.

The economy of Balochistan, one of the four provinces of Pakistan, is largely based upon the production of natural gas, coal, and minerals. Agriculture and livestock also dominate the Baloch economy. Ministry of Maritime Affairs (Pakistan) Government ministry regulating ports and shipping

The Ministry of Maritime Affairs, previously known as the Ministry of Ports and Shipping, is a Federal Ministry of the Government of Pakistan. The current Minister for Maritime Affairs is Faisal Subzwari and the current Federal Secretary for Maritime Affairs is Mian Asad Hayauddin. The Ministry is headquartered in Islamabad and its main attached departments are in the port city of Karachi.

NA-272 (Lasbela-cum-Gwadar) is a constituency for the National Assembly of Pakistan. It comprises the districts of Lasbela and Gwadar from the province of Balochistan. It was created in 2018 out of areas from NA-270 (Awaran-cum-Lasbela) and NA-272 (Kech-cum-Gwadar)

Maritime Secretary Administrative head of the Ministry of Maritime Affairs

The Maritime Secretary of Pakistan, also referred to as Ports and Shipping Secretary, is the Federal Secretary for the Ministry of Maritime Affairs. The position holder is a BPS-22 grade officer, usually belonging to the Pakistan Administrative Service. The Maritime Secretary is considered to be a coveted slot in the Government of Pakistan, with major organisations such as the Pakistan National Shipping Corporation (PNSC), Karachi Port Trust (KPT), Port Qasim Authority (PQA) and Gwadar Port Authority (GPA) as well as the country's deep sea fishing between the territorial waters base line and the outermost limits of the exclusive economic zone falling under the Secretary's purview.
