List of infantry weapons of the Imperial Japanese Navy

During their reign of power, the Japanese Imperial Navy utilized many weapons, from their initial formation in 1868 to help defend themselves against rapidly growing neighbors and Western countries, to their ultimate demise in 1945 after Japan surrendered to the Allies in World War II. These weapons consisted of; Rifles, Pistols, Submachine guns, Machine guns, Infantry mortars, Grenades and grande discharges, Light anti-aircraft weapons, Anti-tank weapons, Flamethrower, and Military swords. These weapons were utilized to help build the strength of the Japanese Imperial Navy but also defend and attack against opposing Navies.

Teishin Shudan was a Japanese special forces/airborne unit during World War II. The unit was a division-level force, and was part of the Imperial Japanese Army Air Force (IJAAF). The Teishin units were therefore distinct from the marine parachute units of the Special Naval Landing Forces.

Liberation Army of South Vietnam Military unit

The Liberation Army of South Vietnam (LASV), or People's Liberation Armed Forces of South Vietnam (PLAF), also referred as the Liberation Army, was the official army of the National Liberation Front of South Vietnam (NLF), or more commonly known in the West as the Viet Cong (VC). The LASV forces were independent of the People's Army of Vietnam (PAVN) of North Vietnam, but were closely allied with each other in war against the US forces and South Vietnamese Army of the Republic of Vietnam (ARVN). The LASV was unofficially established after 1954 and was recognized as main battle forces in South Vietnam by North Vietnam in 1961. The LASV appeared to be outside of the control of the People's Army of Vietnam, but under the command of the Central Office for South Vietnam, politically and militarily controlled by Hanoi and functioned as a branch of the North Vietnamese Army.

The Myanmar Directorate of Defence Industries (D.I.), commonly known as Directorate of Defence Industries or Karkweye Pyitsu Setyoun, is a state-owned enterprise that is officialy part of the Tatmadaw. DI is responsible for producing military equipment throughout the country for the Myanmar Army, the Myanmar Navy and the Myanmar Air Force. It is the only company that has monopolized firearms production.
