This is a list of educational institutions located in Abeokuta, the capital of Ogun State in Nigeria, since its establishment in February 1976 from part of the former Western State.

Asero High School is a secondary school in Abeokuta, Ogun State, Nigeria, founded and established in 1980. Its original site for the first two academic years was in an old military barracks situated just north of an area called Adatan. By September 1982, the school moved to its new and current location further north in Asero situated on the A5 Federal Abeokuta-Ibadan Road.
Baptist Boys’ High School is a Baptist secondary school in Abeokuta, Ogun State, south-west Nigeria. It had a student body of 2,000 students as of the 2022–2023 academic year. The student population has decreased by almost half from the peak of 2155 in 1998–1999 academic year, partly in response to a concern about overcrowded facilities. BBHS is on its permanent site, Oke-Saje. It is affiliated with the Nigerian Baptist Convention.

Lisabi Grammar School (LGS) is a coeducational public high school in Abeokuta, Ogun State, Nigeria. It was founded in September 1943, as Lisabi Commercial College at Ijoko. It became a grammar school in 1961. Currently, it is located at its permanent site in Idi-Aba, Abeokuta.
Baptist Girl College, often abbreviated as BGC, is a Baptist all-girls secondary school at Idi Aba neighbourhood of Abeokuta, Ogun State, Nigeria. The school was founded about 100 years ago. BGC was among the mission schools taken over by the military government after the civil war in the 1970s. It is affiliated with the Nigerian Baptist Convention.

Opeyemi Olufunmilayo Oke is a Nigerian jurist and former chief judge of Lagos State. She was appointed by Governor Akinwunmi Ambode in September 2017 as the 16th chief justice of the state.
Ilara Yewa is a Nigerian town in the west of Ogun State, Nigeria about 91 kilometers northwest of Abeokuta. It lies on the border between Nigeria and Benin. Its elevation is 600 feet above sea level. Ilara Yewa is about 50 kilometres by road from Ketu, a major trading town in Benin. The second-largest settlement, Ilara, merges into Ilara.
Egba Diocese, Church of Nigeria is one of 13 within the Anglican Province of Lagos, itself one of 14 provinces within the Church of Nigeria. The current bishop is Emmanuel Adekunle. Jonathan S. Adeniyi was the pioneer Bishop of Egba Diocese when it was created in 1976. On his retirement aged 70 in 1979, he was succeeded by Titus Ilori Akintayo, who served from 1980 until 1994. On his retirement, he was in turn succeeded by Matthew Oluremi Owadayo. Adekunle has been the Bishop since 2009.
