The West Texas Rednecks were a short-lived professional wrestling stable and country music band in World Championship Wrestling (WCW) in 1999. They are famous for the recording of two songs, "Rap is Crap " and "Good Ol' Boys."
Music in professional wrestling serves a variety of purposes. The most common uses of music in professional wrestling is that of the entrance theme, a song or piece of instrumental music which plays as a performer approaches the ring. After a match, the entrance theme of the victor will normally be played as they exit the ring. Entrance themes are used to alert the audience to the immediate arrival of a wrestler, and to increase anticipation.

WWF Championship Wrestling is a professional wrestling television program produced by the World Wrestling Federation. It aired from 1972 to August 30, 1986 and was the original television show of the WWF. Originally produced under the World Wide Wrestling Federation (WWWF) banner, Championship Wrestling featured all the stars of the WWF, interviews and championship matches. It was the flagship program of the WWWF/WWF's syndicated programming until it was replaced by Superstars of Wrestling in 1986.

He is best known for being the lead singer in The DX Band, a group who performed entrance themes for many stars and shows of professional wrestling over the years. They are mainly known for the songs "My Time" for Triple H and "Break It Down" for stable D-Generation X.
"Bad to the Bone" is a song by George Thorogood and the Destroyers released in 1982 on the album of the same name. The song adapts the hook and lyrics of Muddy Waters' "Mannish Boy". While it was not widely popular during its initial release, its video made recurrent appearances on the nascent MTV, created a year before. Licensing for films, television, and commercials has since made the song more popular. Author Jim Beviglia argues that despite the song not making the pop charts, it "outstrips all other 80s songs in terms of the way it has essentially become cultural shorthand".

Entrance music is a musical piece or song that is played for athletes or entertainers when they first appear in front of the spectators before beginning a performance. Popular music acts may have recorded intro and/or outro music played before and after a concert performance, which is often of a different genre from that of the act's own live music. Acts often retain a single signature tune throughout their career; music acts typically retain the same intro/outro at least for a whole concert tour.

Voices: WWE The Music, Vol. 9 is a compilation album released by WWE in the United States and Canada on January 27, 2009, Australia on January 24 and in the United Kingdom on April 13, 2009. The album was originally announced to be a three-CD set featuring new music by Jim Johnston and alternate mixes of older material from the past 25 years to commemorate the WrestleMania 25th anniversary. However, the album is now a single disc of original theme music, with a bonus disc containing a selection of past theme music.

It was formed in September 2006, roughly four years following the formation of the TNA promotion in May 2002. Following a restructuring period, TNA Knockout Music legally ceased trading in August 2016, and the promotion would instead release its music independently through distributor TuneCore.

The album features multiple tracks that were not available to the general public before the release of the album, such as the first version of Chris Jericho's theme song "Break the Walls Down", which was composed by Jim Johnston and performed by Adam Morenoff used for his WWE debut back in 1999. The album also features the acoustic versions of Batista's theme song, "I Walk Alone" and Randy Orton's theme song, "Voices" which were used for their WrestleMania 30 video packages, which aired on WWE programming.
