Lithuania's Strongest Man is an annual strongman contest held in Lithuania and features exclusively Lithuanian strength athletes. [1] The competition has been held for 34 consecutive years. Zydrunas Savickas has won the title a record 17 times. [1]

Jarek Dymek is a Polish former strongman competitor. He competed in the World's Strongest Man event eight times, making the finals five times; his best finish was fourth in 2005. The World Strongman Challenge was one of the most enduring annual strongmen competitions, running in various guises for twenty years, with only two years break. Le Defi Mark Ten International was one of the most prestigious strongman contest in the world in the 1980s and early 1990s. Staged in Quebec, Canada, it was begun as a tribute to Louis Cyr and was notable for the quality of the strength athletes it attracted, which included a number of winners of the World's Strongest Man competition, including Jón Páll Sigmarsson, Bill Kazmaier and Magnús Ver Magnússon.
