Live/Remix is the band's third album to be released on Real World Records. It is a double album.
The first disc features songs from their Isla and Portico Quartet albums, recorded live on tour in 2012.
The second disc features remixes of the studio versions of the songs by a range of artists including Sbtrkt, Luke Abbott and Konx-om-Pax. A remix of Steepless by Capac is included after winning a remix competition the band had run as part of the promotion for their Portico Quartet album. [2]
The artwork and design for the album was done by the drummer Duncan Bellamy, who has a degree in Fine Art from Central Saint Martins.
The album was generally positively received.
John Fordham in The Guardian wrote that it is "a memorable set [that] catches the sweeping big-venue confidence and charisma of Portico Quartet's recent performances with a rare balance of studio-like clarity and audience presence" and takes "their emotional clout to another level". [3]
The Independent praised the live material as "consistently inventive" [4] and Q Magazine commented that "even the most synthesized moments here sound natural and unforced". [5]

Vince Clarke is an English synth-pop musician and songwriter. Clarke has been the main composer and musician of the band Erasure since its inception in 1985, and was previously the main songwriter of several groups, including Depeche Mode, Yazoo, and the Assembly. In Erasure he is well known for his deadpan and low-key onstage demeanour, often remaining motionless over his keyboard, in sharp contrast to Andy Bell's animated and hyperactive frontman antics. Erasure have recorded over 200 songs and have sold over 28 million albums worldwide. Vince Clarke was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2020 as a member of Depeche Mode.
James Alexander Goodale Holden is a British electronic music artist and DJ. After beginning his career as a DJ and producer, Holden has moved extensively into live performance and founded his own record label Border Community.

He records and performs extensively under his own name, under the alias Earlham Mystics and as one third of electronic jazz group Szun Waves. His work has been described as "left-field techno and kraut-infused electro" but also draws on more esoteric elements of improvisation, "psychedelic, filtered beats and slow-evolving synths".
Chaz Bear, known professionally as Toro y Moi, is an American singer, songwriter, record producer, and graphic designer. His music has taken on many forms since he began recording, but he is often identified with the rise of the chillwave movement in 2010 and 2011. His stage name is a multilingual expression consisting of the Spanish words toro and y and the French word moi.
