Long Way Down (2009) is a studio album released by American blues hip-hop band G. Love and Special Sauce. The album, released in Australia and New Zealand only, is the first release on the band's own label, Philadelphonic Records.
System of a Down is an Armenian-American heavy metal band formed in Glendale, California, in 1994. It currently consists of members Serj Tankian, Daron Malakian, Shavo Odadjian, and John Dolmayan (drums), who replaced original drummer Andy Khachaturian in 1997.
Scorpions are a German rock band formed in 1965 in Hanover by Rudolf Schenker. Since the band's inception, its musical style has ranged from hard rock, heavy metal, and glam metal. Chuck Treece is a session musician and professional skateboarder from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In 1984 he became famous for being the first African-American skateboarder to be featured on the cover of Thrasher Magazine. His musical credits include starting the 1980s skate punk band McRad, remixing songs for Amy Grant and Sting, playing the bass line on "The River of Dreams" by Billy Joel, filling in on drums at a Pearl Jam concert, and touring with Urge Overkill and Bad Brains. In 2010, he was awarded a Pew Fellowships in the Arts. Chuck currently plays bass in a thrash metal band called ACTiVATE. Treece drummed on the album, Mass by Canadian Ska band, Bedouin Soundclash.
Allstar Weekend was an American pop rock band based in Poway, California. The band gained its popularity from the Disney Channel television network. The band currently consists of lead singer Zachary "Zach" David Porter, bassist Cameron Quiseng, drummer Michael Allen Martinez, lead guitarist Nathan Darmondy, and rhythimist Tom Norris. In September 2011, guitarist Nathan Darmody left the band and later pursued his solo career. They were best known for the singles "Dance Forever", "Come Down with Love", and "A Different Side of Me". They disbanded on August 4, 2013.
