Looney Tunes Super Stars' Sylvester & Hippety Hopper: Marsupial Mayhem is a DVD featuring 18 newly remastered cartoons. It is the final release in the series, due to poor sales of Looney Tunes Platinum Collection: Volume 2 and the depletion of the remastering budget for new-to-DVD Looney Tunes shorts. [1] This release features all 18 of Sylvester's pairings with Hippety Hopper and/or his son, Sylvester, Jr.. 15 of them are new to DVD, while two were previously available on the Golden Collection DVDs and one was previously available on Looney Tunes Mouse Chronicles: The Chuck Jones Collection DVD/Blu-ray set. The DVD was released on April 23, 2013. [1]

Looney Tunes is an American animated comedy short film series produced by Warner Bros. from 1930 to 1969, along with an accompanying series, Merrie Melodies, during the golden age of American animation. The two series introduced Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Porky Pig, Elmer Fudd, Wile E. Coyote, the Road Runner, Tweety, Sylvester, Granny, Yosemite Sam, the Tasmanian Devil, Marvin the Martian, Pepé Le Pew, Foghorn Leghorn, Speedy Gonzales and many other cartoon characters.
Sylvester James Pussycat, Sr. is a fictional character, an anthropomorphic tuxedo cat in the Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies series of cartoons. Most of his appearances have him often chasing Tweety, Speedy Gonzales, or Hippety Hopper. He appeared in 103 cartoons in the golden age of American animation, lagging only behind superstars Bugs Bunny, Porky Pig, and Daffy Duck. Three of his cartoons won Academy Awards, the most for any starring a Looney Tunes character: they are Tweetie Pie, Speedy Gonzales, and Birds Anonymous.
Robert Porter McKimson Sr. was an American animator and illustrator, best known for his work on the Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies series of cartoons from Warner Bros. Cartoons and later DePatie–Freleng Enterprises. He wrote and directed many animated cartoon shorts starring Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Porky Pig, Foghorn Leghorn, Hippety Hopper, and The Tasmanian Devil, among other characters. He was also well known for defining Bugs Bunny's look in the 1943 short Tortoise Wins by a Hare.
Pop 'Im Pop! is a 1950 Warner Bros. Looney Tunes theatrical cartoon short directed by Robert McKimson and written by Warren Foster. The short was released on October 28, 1950, and stars Sylvester the Cat, Hippety Hopper and Sylvester Jr., in the latter's first appearance.
Tweetie Pie is a 1947 Warner Bros. Merrie Melodies cartoon directed by Friz Freleng. The short was released on May 3, 1947, and stars Tweety with Sylvester the Cat.
Hop, Look and Listen is a 1948 Warner Bros. Looney Tunes cartoon directed by Robert McKimson. The short was released on April 17, 1948, and stars Sylvester and Hippety Hopper, in the latter's first appearance.

Freudy Cat is a 1964 Warner Bros. Looney Tunes animated short directed by Robert McKimson. The short was released on March 14, 1964, and stars Sylvester the Cat, Sylvester Jr. and Hippety Hopper.
Looney Tunes Super Stars is a series of nine Looney Tunes DVDs consisting of two Bugs Bunny DVDs and other characters who got their own collections. It started on August 10, 2010 and ran until April 23, 2013. The series consists of:
Looney Tunes Super Stars' Foghorn Leghorn & Friends: Barnyard Bigmouth is a DVD of eight new-to-DVD Foghorn Leghorn cartoons, one previously-on-DVD Foghorn cartoon, and six additional new-to-DVD cartoons that was released on November 30, 2010. Unlike previous Super Stars discs, the disc not only contains the matted-widescreen versions of the cartoons, but the original fullscreen versions as well.
Looney Tunes Super Stars' Tweety & Sylvester: Feline Fwenzy is a DVD of 15 Sylvester and Tweety cartoons that was released on November 30, 2010. Unlike the previous Super Stars discs, this disc features 15 cartoons that were previously on the Golden Collection sets as the new plan for the Super Stars volumes is one with new-to-DVD cartoons and one with previously-on-DVD cartoons. The reason for the double-dip release in each wave is so the Warner Home Video department can pay back for the remastering of other restorations. Also, unlike the previous Super Stars discs, the cartoons are presented in original full screen.
Looney Tunes Super Stars' Road Runner & Wile E. Coyote: Supergenius Hijinks is a DVD containing 15 Wile E. Coyote and the Road Runner cartoons which was released on October 4, 2011. It was released earlier in the Czech Republic on September 8, 2011 and on October 3, 2011 it was available early in the U.S. at Walmart stores.
Bell Hoppy is a 1954 Warner Bros. Merrie Melodies cartoon short directed by Robert McKimson. The short was released on April 17, 1954, and stars Sylvester the Cat and Hippety Hopper.
Looney Tunes Super Stars' Bugs Bunny: Wascally Wabbit is a DVD of 15 Bugs Bunny cartoons that was released on May 4, 2011. Like the Sylvester & Tweety: Feline Fwenzy disc, this disc features 15 cartoons that were previously on the Golden Collection sets as the new plan for the Super Stars volumes is one with new-to-DVD cartoons and one with previously-on-DVD cartoons. The reason for the double-dip release in each wave is so the Warner Home Video department can pay back for the remastering of other restorations. Also, unlike the previous Super Stars discs, the cartoons are presented in original fullscreen.
Looney Tunes Super Stars' Porky & Friends: Hilarious Ham is a DVD featuring 18 cartoons, with most of them featuring Porky Pig. 16 of the shorts are new to DVD, while two were previously available in the Looney Tunes Golden Collection. This was the first DVD in the Looney Tunes Super Stars series to present the post-1953 cartoons in original fullscreen format only, with no matted 1:85 widescreen format option. The DVD was released on November 6, 2012.
Hippety Hopper is a Warner Bros. Merrie Melodies cartoon directed by Robert McKimson and written by Warren Foster. The short was released on November 19, 1949, and stars Sylvester and Hippety Hopper.
Stars of Space Jam is a collection of Looney Tunes VHS tapes released on 1997 to promote the release of Space Jam. A Japanese LaserDisc of this set was released around the same time. Each tape/side featured six cartoons, most of which had not been made available on home video before. This was also notably the first video series with a video featuring all the cartoons of the Tasmanian Devil. The series was discontinued around the time the Looney Tunes Presents video series came out.
