Lord Kemy is a French Canadian Hip Hop/Dancehall artist native of Guinea (West Africa).
He was born in Romania in 1976 from a Romanian mother and a Guinean father. With his law degree from the Sorbonne University in Paris, he has a pretty "atypical" profile for a hip hop artist. His music is characterized by a mixture of hip hop, dancehall rhythms and reggae flavor. Since his debut album (Bakouti) in 1996, his music has continuously evolve and reshape over time. He is the leader and founder of Leg Def (Legitim' Defense) which is one of the first Hip Hop groups in Guinea in 1995. He has repeatedly been nominated and honored for his work, both in his home country and internationally. One of his most important rewards is the Kora Award of the Best African Ragga Group, won in December 2005 in Durban (South Africa) as a member of the group Leg Def.
Since 2007, Lord Kemy also has a solo career in parallel to his career as a member of the Leg Def with his younger sister Lady Lu.
He handles both rap and singing in both French and English. He currently has 4 albums to his credit, including 3 produced under his own Label, LegDef Produkt.
Lord Kemy was also present on several European stages, especially in France (where he lived during several years while studying law at La Sorbonne), also in London (UK), Lausanne, Biel and Geneva (Switzerland), etc.
The kora is a stringed instrument used extensively in West Africa. A kora typically has 21 strings, which are played by plucking with the fingers. It has features of the lute and harp.

Viviane is a Senegalese pop singer who is the former backing vocalist and former sister-in-law of Youssou N'Dour. Viviane is known as the queen or reine of Senegalese music. Her music combines traditional Senegalese mbalax music with elements of U.S. rap, R&B and Country music. She released her first album in 1999 and formed a group called Le Jolof Band in 2001. Most of her songs are in either Wolof or English though a few are in French, the official language of Senegal. On March 31, 2012 the label Wonda Music of producer Jerry 'Wonder' Duplessis signed her to his recording label. Since then, Viviane has been working with Jerry Wonda and her album was released in 2015.
Adegoke Odukoya, better known as Ade Bantu, is a Nigerian-German musician, producer and social activist who is the front man of the 13 piece band BANTU and the creator of the monthly concert series and music Festival Afropolitan Vibes which holds in Lagos, Nigeria. Ade Bantu is also the founder of the Afro-German musical collective Brothers Keepers. His band BANTU received the Kora Award for their album Fuji Satisfaction in 2005.

Serge Bambara is a hip hop artist, actor and political activist from Ouagadougou, the capital of Burkina Faso. Born in what was then the Republic of Upper Volta, the son of a Bissa father and a French mother, he moved to France to study in 1991. In 1999 he signed a contract with EMI and launched a first single, featuring the singer Lââm. In 2001 he moved back to Burkina Faso and started the studio Abazon. He has released the albums Epitaphe, Zamana, Code noir and Cravate Costards et Pourriture, and cooperated with the prominent Senegalese rapper Didier Awadi.
