Los Pinos, New Mexico is a ghost town in what is now Bosque Farms, New Mexico in Valencia County, New Mexico.
Los Pinos was a Spanish land grant dating from 1716, originally known as Bosque del Pino (Forest Pines), or Los Pinos.

Bosque Farms is a village in Valencia County, New Mexico, United States. The population was 3,904 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Albuquerque Metropolitan Statistical Area.
Chapultepec, more commonly called the "Bosque de Chapultepec" in Mexico City, is one of the largest city parks in the Western Hemisphere, measuring in total just over 686 hectares. Centered on a rock formation called Chapultepec Hill, one of the park's main functions is as an ecological space in Greater Mexico City. It is considered the first and most important of Mexico City's "lungs".
The Bosque del Apache National Wildlife Refuge is located in southern New Mexico. It was founded in 1939 and is administered by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. It is a favorite spot to watch the migration of the sandhill cranes in the fall. The reserve is open year-round and provides safe harbor for its varied wildlife.
Los Pinos was the official residence and office of the President of Mexico from 1934 to 2018. Located in the Bosque de Chapultepec in central Mexico City, it became the presidential seat in 1934, when Gen. Lázaro Cárdenas became the first president to live there. The term Los Pinos became a metonym for the Presidency of Mexico.

José María Pino Suárez was a Mexican lawyer, writer, newspaper proprietor and politician who served as the 7th and last Vice President of Mexico between 1911 and his assassination in February 1913, during the events of the Ten Tragic Days. A leader of the Mexican Revolution, he fought together with Francisco I. Madero to end the Porfirista dictatorship and lead the country toward a democratic transition. In 1911, Madero and Pino Suárez became the first democratically elected leaders in Mexico's history. In 1969, his widow, María Cámara Vales, received the Belisario Domínguez Medal of Honor, recognizing their joint sacrifice for democracy and freedom in the country. Due to his loyalty to President Madero and his ideals, he is known by national historiography as "el caballero de la lealtad".
San Pedro de los Pinos is a station on Line 7 of the Mexico City Metro system. It is located in the Benito Juárez municipality of Mexico City, west of the city centre. In 2019, the station had an average ridership of 13,680 passengers per day.
Navajo Lake is a reservoir located in San Juan County and Rio Arriba County in northwestern New Mexico, in the southwestern United States. Portions of the reservoir extend into Archuleta County in southern Colorado. The lake is part of the Colorado River Storage Project, which here manages the upper reaches of the San Juan River, storing and releasing water that is used locally for irrigation, or ultimately reaching the Colorado River in Utah. Water is impounded in Navajo Lake by the earth- and rock-filled Navajo Dam, 3,800 feet (1,200 m) long and 400 feet (120 m) high, completed in 1962. The 15,600-acre (63 km2) lake is over 25 miles (40 km) long and lies at an elevation of up to 6,085 feet (1,855 m).
The Albuquerque–Santa Fe–Las Vegas combined statistical area is made up of eight counties in north central New Mexico. The combined statistical area consists of the Albuquerque and Santa Fe metropolitan statistical areas, and the Las Vegas, Los Alamos, and Española micropolitan statistical areas. The 2013 delineations included the Grants micropolitan statistical area, but it was removed in the 2018 revisions. As of the 2020 census, the CSA had a population of 1,162,523. Roughly 56% of New Mexico's residents live in this area. Prior to the 2013 redefintions, the CSA consisted only of the Santa Fe metropolitan statistical area and the Española micropolitan statistical area. The total land area of the Albuquerque–Santa Fe–Las Vegas combined statistical area in the 2013 definition is 26,421 sq. mi.
The Albuquerque Metropolitan Statistical Area, sometimes referred to as Tiguex, is a metropolitan area in central New Mexico centered on the city of Albuquerque. The metro comprises four counties: Bernalillo, Sandoval, Torrance, and Valencia. As of the 2010 United States Census, the MSA had a population of 887,077. The population is estimated to be 923,630 as of July 1, 2020, making Greater Albuquerque the 61st-largest MSA in the nation. The Albuquerque MSA forms a part of the larger Albuquerque–Santa Fe–Las Vegas combined statistical area with a 2020 estimated population of 1,165,181, ranked 49th-largest in the country.
Arbutus xalapensis, commonly known as the Texas madrone, naked Indian tree or Texas madroño, is a species of flowering plant in the heather family. It is native to Central America, the southwestern United States, and throughout Mexico. It is found in canyons and mountains, on rocky plains, and in oak woodlands, at altitudes of up to 3,000 m in the south of the range, but lower, down to 600 m in the north of the range.
Trujillo District is one of eleven districts of the province Trujillo in Peru. This district is the heart of the city of Trujillo, because it is the commercial and financial center of the city. The most important malls, banks and other business of the city are located in this district.
Abraham "Abe" Buford II was an American soldier, Confederate combatant, and landowner. After serving in the United States Army during the Mexican–American War, Buford joined the Confederate States Army in 1862 and served as a cavalry general in the Western Theater of the American Civil War. After the war, he retired to his native Kentucky and became a thoroughbred horse breeder.
Santiago Metro Line 2 is one of the seven rapid transit lines that currently make up the Santiago Metro network in Santiago, Chile. It has 22 stations and 20.7 km of track. The line intersects with Line 1 at Los Héroes, with the Line 3 at Puente Cal y Canto, with Line 4A at La Cisterna, with Line 5 at Santa Ana, and Line 6 at Franklin. It will also intersect with the future Line 7 at Puente Cal y Canto. Its distinctive colour on the network map is banana yellow.
Bosque is an unincorporated community in Valencia County, New Mexico, United States. Bosque is located at the junction of New Mexico State Road 116 and New Mexico State Road 346 7.1 miles (11.4 km) south of Belen. Bosque has a post office with ZIP code 87006. It was named for its location in the bosque of the Rio Grande valley. The town has been settled since 1750, when several Hispanicized tribes farmed here.
Bosques de las Lomas is a colonia, or officially recognised neighbourhood, located in western Mexico City. It falls partly in Cuajimalpa borough and partly in Miguel Hidalgo borough. It was the masterpiece of Carleton F. Boyle, who previously was the CEO of Lock Joint Company. His good friend Don Carlos Trouyet owned the land & C.F. Boyle created the development which was the first borough in Latin America to have all the telephone & electrical lines run underground. The bridge in Bosques de las Lomas was the first of its kind in Latin America when C.F. Boyle hired French engineers to create it, and to this day Mexican Military Units use it for training exercises. The church design was chosen in a contest by C.F. Boyle by the architect Juan Cortina Del Valle, which has a vanguard design of a pyramid with a prominent stained glass window by the Hungarian-French artist Victor Vasarely.
San Pedro de los Pinos is a neighborhood located in center-west of Mexico City. Before being urbanized during the first half of the 20th century, the colonia was part of a vast farming area belonging to several ranches and haciendas.
The Cuenca Alimentadora del Distrito Nacional de Riego 043 Estado de Nayarit is a protected natural area in west-central Mexico. It extends across portions of southern Sierra Madre Occidental and the westernmost Trans-Mexican Volcanic Belt. It has an area of 23290.27 km2, covering portions of southern Durango, northern Jalisco, eastern Nayarit, southern Zacatecas, and western Aguascalientes states.
