José Wilker Almeida was a Brazilian film, stage, and television actor and director. The actor gained fame in telenovelas like Roque Santeiro (1985), but became known internationally for his role as Vadinho, the husband who returns from the dead to tempt Sônia Braga's character in the movie Dona Flor and Her Two Husbands (1976).
Nana Caymmi is a Brazilian singer. Caymmi was born in Rio de Janeiro, the daughter of Dorival Caymmi and Stella Maris. Her first appearance on record was on her father's album Acalanto. She married Venezuelan doctor Gilberto Aponte Paoli and moved there in 1959. She and her husband divorced in 1966, at which time she moved back to Rio. At this time, she became involved with the Tropicalia movement; she became romantically involved with Gilberto Gil, whom she married in 1967 and divorced the year thereafter. In 1966, she sang "Saveiros" at the first Festival Internacional da Canção in Rio, and won first place in the national phase of the competition, despite boos from the crowd, who preferred Gal Costa's rendition of Gil's "Minha Senhora".

Amor Louco is the fourth studio album by Brazilian post-punk band Fellini. It was released on February 15, 1990 by now-defunct independent record label Wop-Bop Records and re-released in CD form in 2001 by another independent label, RDS. It was originally Fellini's last album, due to their break-up in the following year; however, they reunited in 2001 and released another album, Amanhã É Tarde. After his absence from the previous album, Jair Marcos returned as the guitarist, thus having Fellini's original line-up once more.
Amanhã É Tarde is the fifth studio album by Brazilian band Fellini. It was released on March 4, 2002, by independent carioca label Midsummer Madness. It is their first album of new material since 1990's Amor Louco. Although it is labeled as a Fellini album, it doesn't feature Jair Marcos and Ricardo Salvagni; as it happened in their 1986 album Fellini Só Vive 2 Vezes, it only features Cadão Volpato and Thomas Pappon.

Sol de Verão is a Brazilian telenovela produced and broadcast by Rede Globo. It premiered on 11 October 1982 and ended on 18 March 1983. The death of lead actor Jardel Filho, when only 120 episodes out of the originally planned 155 were finished, caused the production to be cut short. The telenovela still ran for a further 17 chapters to wrap up the plot, for a total of 137 episodes. Since the telenovela that would succeed it in the timeslot, Louco Amor, hadn't yet begun production at that point, a truncated rerun of 1976's O Casarão was shown in the timeslot until Louco Amor's debut.
