Clew Bay is a natural ocean bay in County Mayo, Republic of Ireland. It contains Ireland's best example of sunken drumlins. The bay is overlooked by Croagh Patrick to the south and the Nephin Range mountains of North Mayo. Clare Island guards the entrance of the bay. From the southwest part of the bay eastwards are Louisburgh, Lecanvey, Murrisk, and Westport; north of Westport is Newport, and westwards from there lies Mulranny, gateway to Achill. From the south side of the bay, between Clare Island and Achill, Bills Rocks can be seen.

Austin O'Malley is a Gaelic football player for Wicklow and St Patricks. O'Malley won the Dublin Senior Football Championship with UCD in 2006. The Louisburgh native was involved in a transfer process which brought him to St. Vincents in Dublin. The story was leaked to Dublin newspaper, the Metro. Austin works as a teacher in St. Benildus College, where he uses the strength and ambition that he gained from years on the training pitch to discipline and motivate the pupils. In 2011 he joined Wicklow town club St Patrick's and the Wicklow county team. In 2014 he transferred back to his native club Louisburgh in Co Mayo.
The R335 road is a regional road in counties Mayo and Galway in Ireland. It starts in Westport, Co. Mayo and ends in Leenaun, Co. Galway. The N59 is a much more direct route between the two towns. The R335 passes through Murrisk, Lecanvey, Louisburgh and Delphi before terminating in Leenaun. It is considered one of the most scenic drives in counties Mayo and Galway. It is approximately 52 kilometres (32 mi) long with a speed limit of 80 km/h (50 mph).
