Luan Rama (born January 1952) [1] is an Albanian diplomat,writer and researcher from Tirana who lives and works in Paris,France.
Luan is author of many books dedicated to links between French and Albanian culture. As a former ambassador of Albania to France (1991–92) and UNESCO (1997–2001),he worked most for protecting and developing the European values of his country.

Even though he was one of the earliest Albanian communists,he was arrested and convicted on 31 December 1947 by the Supreme Military Court with life imprisonment due to the divergences he had with the communist regime. In 1949,he was released from prison by an amnesty,while unofficially it was said to have been released with the direct intervention of Soviet ambassador Dmitry Chuvakhin. He spent the last years of his live in Durrës serving as a translator of books in several languages.

Adem Zaplluzha was one of the most prolific Kosovan Albanian poets. He completed his primary and secondary education in his hometown,Prizren,and graduated from the School of Pedagogy at the University of Pristina. After that he worked as a teacher for a while in several villages near Prizren and then as a legal translator at the Kosovan Electricity Corporation after that until the end of his career. He started writing and publishing literature from his childhood with his first poem being published in 1957 in the Pionieri literary magazine. At the Kosovan Electricity Corporation he co-founded the literary club 'Kosovan Poppies' which later published some of his works most notably in the 'Ngjyra e Kohës' anthology. His works were published in a wide variety of literary and non-literary publications in Kosovo,Albania,Macedonia and Romania.

Sulejman Aga Batusha or Sulejman Aga Botusha was a prominent Albanian resistance fighter and revolutionary leader from the Highlands of Gjakova and the wider Gjakova region who participated in the Albanian National Awakening. Born sometime in the 19th century,Sulejman Aga would repeatedly lead Albanian forces against the Ottomans throughout the 19th and 20th centuries,ultimately contributing to the Albanian Declaration of Independence from the Ottoman Empire. He was also a chief of the Gashi tribe and was their head in the Gjakova region.
